booda 0 Posted December 3, 2006 I have Brady vs Det and Leinart vs. Stl to choose from. Now normally, this would not be hard..but here comes the tricky part. I have Boldin & the guy I play has Fitz. So, for every TD Fitz gets, I get one. & for every TD Boldin gets, I get 2. So I figure, Leinart has a better chance of producing points, b/c I can get double for Boldin & 1 if he gets it to Fitz. I would like to get you guys input to see if there are some views I have not thought about. Leave a link & I will definately answer yours...
Nino21075 0 Posted December 3, 2006 I would just go with the better QB with the better matchup, which in this case would be Brady. He's also at home which is also extra nice. You will get your points for Boldin, b/c he should hit 100+ yds and score at least once. Leinart has a nice matchup too, I'm just concerned that he won't try to pass an exorbenant amount b/c teams can run on the Rams pretty easily. Thanks for seeing mine. nosferatu9368 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Well first off Leinart is a better play than Brady this week. And it is always nice to be able to cover the other guys WR score with points of your own. I dont really see any question in who to play even if you didnt have Boldin and he didn't have Fitz. New England's Defense might score a TD of there own. I think Maroney and Dillon have a great day as well, Brady wont need to do much to win this game. Good Luck Mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=257438 Peace... granta_05 3 Posted December 3, 2006 I would go with Brady. Leinart could throw for more yards, but I think Brady will throw for more TD's. Against the Rams horrible Run D, when the Cardinals are in the Red Zone, I think they would look to run it. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=257507

Brady is definitely a better play this week than Leinart.
nosferatu9368 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Yes thats why I changed my response. Leinart is still a better play than Brady or Kitna, for reasons I stated above. Good Luck Peace...

MFFLWarPigs 0 Posted December 3, 2006 ANYONE vs. Detroit is a better matchup, and I live in Michigan (GO BLUE!) Thanks for mine.
dalie 2 Posted December 3, 2006 I would go with Brady, the better match up. Is it supossed to be snowy there Sunday, if so then go Leinhart. It doesn't matter if you match up with Fitz if Brady does more. Thanks for mine
booda 0 Posted December 3, 2006 thanks daile..anyone else?
murphyB3 1 Posted December 3, 2006 I personally think Brady will do well...
Chazzman 0 Posted December 3, 2006 I like Leinert here for the reasons you describe
The Train 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Brady will light up the Detroit defense. I expect 3 or more passing touchdowns (hopefully some to Caldwell) from him. Thanks for mine.
Bills04 56 Posted December 3, 2006 I'd go with Brady. ARI RB E. James has to be DROOLING at this matchup, to get this 1st 100-yard game of the year! Also, I figure ARI Coach will want to run, to keep STL's offense off the field... Thanks for help with mine.
sick_n_tired 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Tom Brady. Don't bench your studs! Please help! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=257532

I see what you are saying and it makes sense. We know the Cards can't run, so Boldin and Fitz are gonna get all the action as usual. Brady has done pretty well and I can see the Pats/Lions game being over early and them just running. For your situation I think I would go with Leinart. The Rams D is bad anyway so he could have another 300+ game. It's a tough call though. Good luck.
booda 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Morning bump..any other opinions?
dmac37 1 Posted December 3, 2006 I think Brady may be the safe choice and Leinart could put up big numbers like last week or lay an egg. So depends on if you want safe or roll the dice.
Amen G-men 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Go with the better QB in Brady Thanks for mine
Pack-Attack 1 Posted December 3, 2006 both qb's have very favorable match-up's me personally i would start leinart
mscharver 0 Posted December 3, 2006 I say go with the better matchup as well. However, if I were to look at the way you are and the way my league-scoring works, I would actually sit Leinart b/c of this. In my league Leinart tossing a TD to Fitz is almost like losing a touchdown for yourself. However, that is in my league. I would just go with the best matchup and that is.............. Brady V Detroit defense. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=257564 - Matt
drogo 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Brady! He'll have a monster day against the lions. Thanks for mine.
Crackhead Bob 0 Posted December 3, 2006 The cancelling out theory has been discussed many many times. Think about it this way. If you had Peyton Manning vs Tenn today would you sit him to play say Eli because you have Toomer & your opponent has PlaX? You'd be crazy to do that. Brady at home vs Detroit is a good matchup for a more experienced QB and will net you more points than Lienart. Poll Question: Pick my #3 WR for today
wpmkhein 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Brady --- always go with the better matchup.
piece of work 0 Posted December 3, 2006 go brady.....always play your best players
SAL321 0 Posted December 3, 2006 You have to play Brady. Don't be fooled by Lienart 400 + last week. I'm in Detroit and Brady will torch the Lions today. You could see him throw for 300 and multiple TD's BEFORE they take their foot off the gas late in the third quarter.
Cjt727 0 Posted December 3, 2006 A little too big of a chance...especially considering how good Brady and the Patriots have been doing and how bad the Lions are.
shamrock_94 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Don't overthink it. Brady vs a horrible Lions team. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=257542
NY Necros 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Never bench your studs!! Brady for sure Thanks for answereing mine
enricopulazzo 0 Posted December 3, 2006 gotta go with your studs-Brady
Fonzie2004 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Brady over Leinart. I never start two players from the same team. The downside is too great and the upside too rare (in reference to your WR question). I picked up Caldwell last week and I'm still teetering in his direction (at least only this week) instead of Mush for the Bears (my problem) but I mention that for your case in that someone has to throw to Caldwell to make him a viable option this week.... hence Brady. Also there is a litlte voice in my gut always wondering about what the previous poster said about the Pats running all day...which makes me uncomfortable.... slestack11 0 Posted December 3, 2006 I would still start Brady vs. Detroit. The Lions are a dream matchup for QB's. Thanks for mine.
