VaTerp 0 Posted January 14, 2007 Congratulations on a fine season. Seriously, I have been a Redskin fan my entire life. I hate the eagles and their fans as much as anyone but enough is enough. All I ask of any fans is to be a true fan and support your team through thick and thin and to not let homerism get in the way of all logic and reason when it comes to football analysis and opinions. I have had my share of run ins with Eagles fans in real life and on this forearm but the constant and pointless eagle/fan banter has gotten VERY OLD. First we had to endure Mackgee and his childish chit for months (and I am with others who think he is now posting as siganture boy) and now we have Charger fans starting threads about eagle fans when they should be putting all of their energy into their OWN teams huge playoff game and hoping the Chargers can win and cover a 4.5 pt spread agaisnt Brady and Bellicheck. Yes, Eagle fans can be all of the negative things that people say about them but they can be relatively knowledgeable fans of FOOTBALL in general who can carry on rationale conversations if we would let them. Lets move on and enjoy the games AHEAD of us in the playoffs and the Superbowl. So from this Redskin fan I say to all Eagle fans: Congratulations again on a season you can be proud of in which your franchise QB was lost for the season and you still won a post-season game and played within 3 points in tough setup in the divisional playoffs. Hopefully, my team will get a real GM, stop overpaying for marginal players, and treating draft picks like dollar bills at strip clubs and we can return to our past glory and I can talk more chit.
