Mons Venus and Redner have filed law suits that have reached the Supreme Court and have become case law in many court cases.[3] One of the more notable things about Mons is the up-front pricing - on each side of the club is a sign that reads "Lap Dances $20-$30". Unlike other establishments that try to get their patrons to go to the "champagne room", the most expensive thing at Mons is a $30 lap dance. Another notable thing about lap dances at this establishment is the customers are allowed to touch the dancer. A lap dance at this establishment and others in Tampa allows a patron to fondle the dancer and generally engage in dry-coitus for a full song. GobbleDog 987 Posted February 6, 2007 Hey, I've been there! When I was growing up, Mons Venus was the most famous nudy bar in the world. So when I got invited to a batchelor party in Tampa a few years back, I was pretty excited to finally see this famous bar! I must say, I was a little disapointed. I mean the chicks were hot and all, but the bar itself was pretty cheasy. For some reason, I was expecting the Disney Land of nudy bars or something. It was just some hole in the wall joint.
