It was nice to see Mr. Greg Oden prevail even though UW mugged him every time down the court. From this point on I will not whine about Oden getting away with anything, bc after watching UW players hack him, trip him, push him, etc I understand that we are just unable to compete at his level, hence why we must foul him every chance we get.

Runner-up in the Big10...sadly without Butch I think UW will have a tough time making it past the third round.

bobby knight would have had a heart attack watching that game. seemed no one could make a free throw. I think UW gets a 2 seed and an outside shot at a 1, FL losing again really makes it possible that both could get 1 seeds, esp if UW plays well in conf tourney. I think they will do fine, I predict both UW and OSU to both go down in elite 8. Either team could make a heck of a run its just going to depend on how it plays out with who they play. I can't wait for the tourney to start :hyper:

If those guys played for my old H.S. coach, the players would be having heart attacks the next day from all the running they would have to do for each missed F.T. Damn, makes me tired just thinking about it.

 

(though for every charge we took, we got off the hook individually for 1 missed FT).

 

OSU I think will do well, but UW's going to need a great conference tourney and some luck without Butch, he is the interior. Without him, Odin could cheat on drivers, cause there wasn't anybody down low he had to worry about. That will be the case for Bucky until he comes back...4 to 6 weeks.

 

Unless somebody gets injured, I'm putting OSU in my final four now.

Wisconsin is a severly flawed basketball team. As concerning to me as the missed free throws was the fact that Tucker and Taylor bascially disappared for stretches. I loves me some Jason Bohanon, but when a freshman guard is the one shooting you back into a game, you got problems ahead. The upper classman on this team need to get their ###### together, or they'll be facing an early exit.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the Big 10 be out of the tournament by the round of 16.

I said what I believe. Both are waaaaaaaaaaaay overrated. When OSU and Wisconsin run into solid mid-major teams and the better teams from other conferences, they're going to get beat.

 

The tourney will decide. No need for name calling and insults (not directed at you).

I've already stated I don't think Wisconsin will do as well as initially hoped because of the Butch injury.

 

I'd have to watch the game again, but I recall OSU playing a lot of zone and remember most of the shots being contested.

 

Unless something dramatic happens though, I'm putting OSU in the Final 4 still, I'll be shocked at anything less from them.

 

I'm pretty sure this is why they play the games, it will be a fun tourney as I don't think there is a clear cut favorite as in years past.

Oden fouled out 8 minutes into the first half. Refs were nice to him because they didn't want to see an 48-year-old freshman have a heart attack on the court.

I think that's why the OSU player felt so confident hacking K. Taylor on that last shot when he should have just put his hands straight up and made him make an impossible shot -- he knew from watching Oden that they weren't going to call anything no matter what he did.
