Giants Fan 85 Posted March 16, 2007 I just made 2 eggs, sunny side up (aka "fried"), couple skinless sausage links, and 2 pieces of toast. The toast was Sarah Lee 100% Multigrain. I figure each egg is like 15 cents, each sausage link is about the same ... and you could skimp on the bread, but that's another like 10 cents a slice. Butter, salt, pepper ... add another 5 cents. Could do bacon instead at about the same cost. 85 cents, 2 eggs, bacon or sausage and toast
MDC 5,915 Posted March 16, 2007 My favorite breakfast is the Midtown special at the Midtown 4 diner in downtown Philadelphia: Two eggs sunnyside up with home fries, bacon and rye toast, bottomless cup of coffee and a glass of grapefruit juice for $4.95. You can't beat it!
dcOne 2 Posted March 16, 2007 My favorite breakfast is the Midtown special at the Midtown 4 diner in downtown Philadelphia: Two eggs sunnyside up with home fries, bacon and rye toast, bottomless cup of coffee and a glass of grapefruit juice for $4.95. You can't beat it! When we went to Philly for the game (ughhh), we ate at the Penrose Diner. I saw on the menu something called "Scrapple". There was some other weird menu item that I had never heard of before. I can't think of it right now.
