thetxstang 0 Posted April 16, 2007 Yes, I have. It's a great place to visit. While you're in the area, make sure to visit Mount Rushmore, as well as see the famous Passion Play in Spearfish.

I'd seen a few episodes in Season 3 (I think); so last week I rented/watched Season 1... Fantastic show. Great acting, quite a bit of action, and some absolutely incredible dialogue that balances coarseness and elegance (nearly poetic use of language, at times). I'd certainly be interested to hear some of the historical info/sites on the city of Deadwood...

edjr 6,585 Posted April 17, 2007 Nice job by HBO by not paying the cast what they deserved.
ADD1CT36 1 Posted April 17, 2007 All you ever wanted to know....fact and fiction http://www.legendsofamerica.com/WE-DeadwoodHBO.html i just found this website too. i would be pretty p1ssed off if i were seth bullock's family with the way HBO treated his affair with a fictional woman and his marriage to his brother's wife. all of that was untrue. martha bullock was his childhood sweetheart and they both did great things for the town. i hope their ghosts haunt the writers at HBO
