8.12 Jay Cutler, QB DEN

11.01 Steve McNair, QB BAL

Not the pair of Qb's I'd ultimately want to go into battle with, as I feel you might be choosing weekly, but if Cutler does what you are expecting, they will likely suffice. Grade C+

1.01 LaDanian Tomlinson, RB KCC

3.01 Cedric Benson, RB CHI

4.12 Jamal Lewis, RB CLE

9.01 Michael Turner, RB SDC

10.12 Brandon Jackson, RB GBP

Solid corp of backs, anchored by LT, and backed up by Turner. Benson and Jamal give you 2 other non- RBBC guys. Then you possibly stole a 10th round starter, at the least a solid contributor in Jackson. You've amassed a winning backfield. Grade A

2.12 Torry Holt, WR STL

5.01 Darrell Jackson, WR SFO

6.12 Jericho Cotchery, WR NYJ

7.01 Kellen Winslow, WR CLE

Landing Holt at the end of round two was huge for you, as the rest of the group will be hit and miss from week to week, and the top teir quickly dried up after that selection. Jericho has the upside in the group, and normally a guy like DJAX, if healthy, could add some veteran consistency. DJAX is in a new system though, and I don't feel he can carry the weight of a #2. Winslow will get you a top 8 TE performance, but what will the actual impact be if he is #8? Grade C

Overall, the first 3 picks will have to carry the load, and having LT as one of the 3 is huge. Keys to your squads success is include Cutler being a consistent contributor, and someone helping Holt out at Wr.. Benson was my favorite pick in the 3rd, and DJAX the one that scares me the most in round 5.

8.11 Brett Favre, QB GBP

10.11 JaMarcus Russell, QB OAK

11.02 Chad Pennington, QB NYJ

With Favre as your starter, the acquistion of Pennington wasn't really necessary. Hell, you didn't even need a #2. I wasn't fond of the rookie Qb pick, and feel it caused the knee jerk to grab Pennington. Grade B

1.02 Steven Jackson, RB STL

2.11 Thomas Jones, RB NYJ

7.02 Lamont Jordan, RB OAK

9.02 DeShaun Foster, RB CAR

Solid backfield, and with V4E's above, make up one of the top backfields in the league. Solid value on every pick. Grade A

3.02 Reggie Wayne, WR IND

4.11 Hines Ward, WR PIT

5.02 Laverneous Coles, WR NYJ

6.11 Joey Galloway, WR TBB

I would have loved to have seen another wideout to help out here, instead of the 3rd Qb.. I do however think you have 4 good ones. I Ward gets help from his Qb, you are going to be in real good shape. Grade B

Overall a fine job of drafting value, and putting together a solid team. I mentioned the Qb thing above, and that would be my only negative critique. The keys to your squad will be the return of Ward to 10 caliber, and Jordan hanging on to his job. I love the Jones pick in round 2 and the Foster pick in 9. Russell in 10 was the one that made me feel uneasy, for what I feel it caused. Still one of my favorite squads.

-----

Fumbleweed

3.03 Carson Palmer, QB CIN

6.10 Jon Kitna, QB DET

Fumblesque Qb squad, and one we all could roll with. What did it cost? Grade A

1.03 Larry Johnson, RB KCC

4.10 Marion Barber III, RB DAL

5.03 Adrian Peterson, RB MIN

Your 1 and 2 are as solid as any, as I feel Barber was a great 4th round pick. I like Td's and I feel he'll get a minimum of 10. If that comes with more than 900 yards. BINGO!!! Peterson's usage is the question. He was the top back out of the draft, but will he do anything more than split time? If he splits time will he see any Td oppurtunities? I have no problem with the pick, but do question the decision to not get atleast one more back for the draft format. Grade C (depth concerns)

2.10 Marvin Harrison, WR IND

7.03 Bernard Berrian, WR CHI

8.10 Vincent Jackson, WR SDC

9.03 Alge Crumpler, WR ATL

10.10 Brandon Marshall, WR DEN

11.03 Joe Horn, WR ATL

Marvin is a nice anchor in any receiving corp. Berrian and Grossmen were feeling it early. Marshall will adversley affect Walker and was solid in the 10th. Jackson needs to try to find a few scraps in that offense. Joe Horn, on a new squad with Vick???? We'll find out what he's made of for sure. I feel the crumpler pick could have been spent better on another back at some point in the draft. Grade B

Overall, one back short of my comfort zone. You need health in the backfield and for AP to take the lead in Minnesota. Berrian needs to take the next step. He showed it ealry last year. I loved barber in the 4th and didn't care for Crumpler in the 9th.

4.09 Drew Brees, QB NOS

10.09 Jake Delhomme, QB CAR

A solid pair of Qbs, though I would have much rather waited another round or so to get my first one. I just couldn't pass over getting my #3 Qb at that point, as I felt the other positions were between teirs. Delhomme was a great value in the late 10th, and still throws to a concensus top 3 wideout. Grade B+

1.04 Frank Gore, RB SFO

2.09 Maurice Jones-Drew, RB JAX

5.04 Ahman Green, RB HOU

7.04 Kevin Jones, RB DET

12.09 Michael Robinson

I love my backs, though all the debate on MJD has got me thinking. Jones might have been the pick there, but doesn't come close to what MJD did last season. If I get 1200 combined and 10+ Td's, those discussions will be mute. Ahman offers depth as that is his gig, and Kevin Jones can only get healthier. I am very confident that Gore will be a top 4 back. Grade B

3.04 Larry Fitzgerald, WR ARI

6.09 Chris Chambers, WR MIA

8.09 Greg Jennings, WR GBP

9.04 DJ Hackett, WR SEA

11.04 Chris Cooley, WR WAS

I've never had my #3 wideout in any draft I have participated in. Chambers in round 6 could go either way. Jennings was the player that I had the hardest time pulling the trigger on, and I hope that he gets back on track this year. I loved Hackett in the 9th, as I feel he and Hass were feeling it last year. Grade B

Overall , was very pleased, and feel solid in all phases. The keys to this squad are MJD getting 10+ Td's, and Chambers being game planned more effectively. My favorite pick was Fitz at 3.04, and my least favorite was grabbing a 4th round Qb.

Shane Falco

5.05 Donovan McNabb, QB PHI

8.08 Philip Rivers, QB SDC

A good Qb tandem. McNabbs recent inability to make it through the season is what concerns me. He was a 5th round target of mine last season, and was huge until injured. I was weighing him in the 5th, and decide to go a different direction, when I chose Brees in the 4th. Phillips offers some upside potential, as I don't feel LT can repeat his feat of last season, yet still keeps the middle lose to expolit. Grade B

1.05 Shaun Alexander, RB SEA

2.08 Reggie Bush, RB NOS

6.08 Fred Taylor, RB JAX

11.05 Tony Hunt, RB PHI

I love the first three backs and feel they will go along way in carrying this squad. The last guy was a throwaway pick in my estimation. In a normal draft he will go undrafted and claimed, if necessary. This would be some unbelievable inside info.. SA can carry a team, and Bush, like MJD, will not see his role diminish. Grade B

3.05 Roy Williams, WR DET

4.08 Randy Moss, WR NEP

7.05 Donte Stallworth, WR NEP

9.05 Kevin Curtis, WR PHI

10.08 Drew Bennett, WR STL

I pointed out earlier my concerns of 4 backs in new systems. Roy should be solid, but he needs Moss to pick up some slack. The other three could be a crap shoot from week to week, considering anything moss gets, pulls from Stallworth. Curtis and Bennett could come on strong late, but might be vey spotty early. (Holt and Bruce are damn good wideouts) Grade C+

Overall, I feel you are coverd well at 2 positions, and need someone to catch on early at the other. Keys to this team are, McNnabb starting off like did last year before injury and staying healthy. SA to be a healthy TD hound again, Moss returning to half his previous form. I can see why this team could either explode or implode. I loved Bush late in round 2, and question the way the Wr's played out as a group.

-----

Clash of the Titans

7.06 Matt Hasslebeck, QB SEA

9.06 Ben Rothlisberger, QB PIT

2 very dependable Qbs. It can't get any worse for ben, and Hass needs SA healthy. Great value on Hass! Grade B+

1.06 Brian Westbrook, RB PHI

3.06 Deuce McAllister, RB NOS

5.06 DeAngelo Williams, RB CAR

8.07 Ladell Betts, RB WAS

I like this group of backs. The gamble on westbrook in the 1st is gonna work. By gamble, don't get me wrong. I'm a Westbrook guy. I just want something a bit more sturdy as my #1. Duece will be 2 years removed from surgery, and only stronger. DeAngelo solid as a #3, and Betts a steal in the 8th. Great job on the backs from your slot!!! Grade B+

2.07 Terrell Owens, WR DAL

4.07 Plaxico Burress, WR NYG

6.07 Santana Moss, WR WAS

10.07 Vernon Davis, WR SFO

11.06 Ronald Curry, WR OAK

I hate TO, and that clouds me terribly, but he is still a consensus top 4 wideout. I hate burress too, and he is know where close to the top tier. Moss will do the trick as a #3, and I believe Curry is a better pick than Porter. Your wideouts are your weakness, but you scrambled and did a good job putting this group together. I also feel davis will be the top receiver in SF. Amazing scramble job. Grade B

Overall a very solid squad. The key will be Westy staying healthy and getting off, and Owens playing football instead of doing situps in his drive. My biggest fear is him running over Romo AFTER throwing him under the team bus. I loves Duece in the 3rd, and betts in the 8th, and Curry in the 11th. I didn't think that Burress did much for you in the 4th.

-----

Jetdoc

5.07 Marc Bulger, QB STL

12.06 Byron Leftwich, QB JAX

Bulger carries the load here, as the jags certainly like to run, but the position is secured with byron none the less. Grade B-

1.07 Joseph Addai, RB IND

4.06 Marshawn Lynch, RB BUF

6.06 LenDale White, RB TEN

7.07 Vernand Morency, RB GBP

Addai was a solid start to the backfield, but back to back wideout selections in rounds 2 and 3 paid it's heavy toll. I don't see A-Train holding off Lynch though, and feel it is White's job to lose in tennessee. (he could do it though) Morency will also enter the season the starter, and I feel, keep a role all season, so you have patched together a serviceable backfield Grade C+

2.06 Steve Smith, WR CAR

3.07 Anquan Boldin, WR ARI

8.06 Muhsin Muhammad, WR CHI

9.07 Santonio Holmes, WR PIT

10.06 Derrick Mason, WR BAL

11.07 Michael Clayton, WR TBB

A super deep wr corp, arguably the best in this draft, as Smith and Boldin are both top 10 material. Backing them up with up and coming Holmes, then having two old vets and Clayton in the fold, is very solid. The strength here makes me respect the job you did with the rb's. Grade A+

Overall, it strikes me how you pulled this off. A good qb, and at top flight receiving corp, yet you can still put in a respectable backfield. Keys to your team will be, not having to depend on Byron for much, Lynch being that rookie back that has instant impact, and White not being fat and stupid. I love the Smith, boldin combo, then the 9th round Holmes grab. I also feel Morency added value in the 7th. Mush in the 8th was my least favorite pick, but it didn't affect the squad much. Interesting job!

robb

2.05 Peyton Manning, QB IND

10.05 Alex Smith, QB SFO

Peyton Manning???? Grade A+ I'll save some type.

1.08 Willie Parker, RB PIT

3.08 Cadillac Williams, RB TBB

5.08 Jerious Norwood, RB ATL

9.08 Anthony Thomas, RB BUF

Nice start with Willie in the first, and I'm not going to crucify your decision to pick up Caddy in the late 3rd. I think he has the skills to earn this spot. The Falcons are like the Jags, in that they are committed to the run, and Norwood trumps Dunn this year, making him a good #3. Thomas might come in half way thru the season when the rookie starts to wear down. There are better backfields, but the Manning pick explains some of that. Grade C+

4.05 Antonio Gates, WR SDC

6.05 Braylon Edwards, WR CLE

7.08 Terry Glenn, WR DAL

8.05 Todd Heap, WR BAL

11.08 Isaac Bruce, WR STL

12.05 Bobby Wade, WR MIN

This is where I see problems as I don't see a valid #1 in the bunch, and Edwards needs to damn near fight the gravity that is the Browns. Glenn and Bruce are the 2 shining lights that might help you pull this off. I thought those two selections were nice. Grade C-

Overall, a team anchored by manning will always have a good chance, as long as he has SOME help. Willie will carry his weight, and I believe Norwood is a great #2 from the #3 position. I have concerns with the wideouts. Keys will be having someone outproduce Bruce and Glenn, and hoping all this stuff about Davenport doesn't slice Willie's impact. I loved Norwood in the 5th and bruce in 11, and disliked Gates and Edwards.

Da Bomb

7.09 Matt Leinart, QB ARI

I think this mock is a bit skewed do to the taking of just one QB. That gives one the oppurtunity to strengthen up in one position or the other. Nothing wrong with it, or against the rules. Just makes it different then the others. I really like how we handle things in the June mock, stating just what has to be drafted, so we can all get a guage on it. That being said, I feel Leinart is a good starter, and had him at #11 at this point. I think he will be VERY safe, and produce a few knock out games. I also don't think he will produce many bagels. (stole that from JScott) Wish you'd have grabbed another Qb. for comparison reasons, but Grade Matt a B- on his own.

1.09 Rudi Johnson, RB CIN

2.04 Clinton Portis, RB WAS

5.09 Julius Jones, RB DAL

10.04 Reuben Droughns, RB NYG

Rudi is a great #1 back from your spot, and kudos for grabbing him. I feel Portis was early, as Betts simply performed too stellar to be denied a role in this offense this year. Jones will amass 1,000 yards on the high side, but be outpointed by Barber. That doesn't make him a bad #3 at all. You can't slam getting Rueben in the 10th at all. Grade C+

3.09 Javon Walker, WR DEN

4.04 Marques Colston, WR NOS

6.04 Deion Branch, WR SEA

8.04 Matt Jones, WR JAX

9.09 Jerry Porter, WR OAK

11.09 Dwayne Jarrett, WR CAR

12.04 Anthony Gonzalez, WR IND

Being able to grab a #1 wideout in the 4th was a great value. Colston is as good a value as was in this draft. Walker becomes the second best #2 in the draft behind Boldin. I am a Matt Jones guy and feel, when they pass, it will be to Matt. I feel he breaks out somewhat, and catches 7 Td's to go along with 1200 yards. I'm not high on Branch, for I feel he will trail a wideout on his own team in production. Jarret and Gonzalez are a product of not taking the second Qb, and Gonzalez will far be the better of the two. Grade A- (didn't need the additional Wideout for this score)

Overall, I feel your team be solid each week, but not stellar. Your wideouts are your strength, and matt and Rudi add stability. keys will be Jones breaking out, and Portis and Jones proving me dead wrong, and that happens more than occasionally. I thought Colston was as good of pick as was made in this draft, and Jones will not disappoint as a #3 back. I wasn't as high on Portis or Branch.

NAn

7.10 Tony Romo, QB DAL

8.03 Vince Young, QB TEN

I like Romo and Vince if you can hit the right one on a given week. Hopefully there will be a solid trend, by week six or so, to help you out some. I still feel this combo warrants a solid Grade of B.

1.10 Laurence Maroney, RB NEP

2.03 Edgerrin James, RB ARI

5.10 Tatum Bell, RB DET

9.10 Mike Bell, RB DEN

11.10 Michael Bennett, RB KCC

Maroney and Edge are two really nice backs. I feel they are both end of round 1 #1's. I think this is a strength on this squad. Dillon is history, and edge is gonna get more usage this season. Bell, Bell will only be needed sporatically, hopefully, and can end up starting on their own squads with some luck. Bennett won't get a sniff again this season, no matter what they've said, unless LJ goes down. Then I feel they will scoop up a Dillon. Grade B-

3.10 Donald Driver, WR GBP

4.03 Lee Evans, WR BUF

6.03 Mark Clayton, WR BAL

10.03 Eddie Kennison, WR KCC

12.03 Chad Jackson, WR NEP

I like Driver and Evans as #1 and #2 respectively, but feel they won't get much help. Moss and stallworth sure shoot the hell out of prospects for jackson. Grade C-

Overall, this squad was built as good as possible thru round 4. This is a tough spot to pick from this year. Keys will be somebody stepping up to help Driver and Evans. Edge and maroney will payoff, but they need Henry to struggle or be gimpy, and they need K.Jones to have a set back, so one of these Bell's can fill in, now and then if needed. I love the fact that you got those two Rb's, but I thought your team began to struggle, at wideout, with Clayton, then kennison couldn't save the day.

-----

Miller Time 21

7.11 Eli Manning, QB NYG

10.02 Michael Vick, QB ATL

I feel you will be starting Vick consistantly by week 4 or so, as i just don't think baby manning has it. He was a bargain in the 10th, and a God send. He won't suffer repucussions this season, and will repeat his top 6 or 7 performance. Grade B to B-

1.11 Willis McGahee, RB BAL

3.11 Brandon Jacobs, RB NYG

6.02 Warrick Dunn, RB ATL

8.02 Dominic Rhodes, RB OAK

McGahee was my # 11 back, and player on the board. This was the first year I can remember almost placing a Qb, in round 1, anywhere other than on the corner. Jacobs could be huge in round three, and my 2nd favorite pick in this draft behind Colston in round 4. Dunn and Rhodes will suffice as your #3 rb, but I wish you had a stronger option, as they are both RBBC and on the wrong side of it. Grade C+

2.02 Chad Johnson, WR CIN

4.02 Andre Johnson, WR HOU

5.11 Calvin Johnson, WR DET

9.11 Brandon Jones, WR TEN

11.11 Troy Williamson, WR MIN

12.02 David Givens, WR TEN

Johnson, Johnson and Johnson, make up the most Johnson potential ever assembled on one squad. I like the squad overall, due to the 9th round Jones pick, and he's damn near a Johnson, and will out perform the rookie. Grade B

Overall, the squad will be looking for leadership each week. I feel the keys will be for Willis and CJ to be consistent, and Vick to be on par with last season. Jacobs is the x-factor, as I could see him with 12+ td's this year. I love his potential late in round three, and Brandon Jones late in round 9. Manning in the 7th could end up being a bust, but you covered well with Vick in the 10th. This draft seems awfully tough from 9 to 10 thru 12.

Fantasy King

4.01 Tom Brady, QB NEP

11.12 JP Losman, QB BUF

Nice pair of Qb's, and I think that Brady is primed for his highest Td count to date. He is my #4. I feel Losman is a nice compliment, and the Evans connection is good for a few huge games, which could be timely. Grade B+

1.12 Ronnie Brown, RB MIA

2.01 Travis Henry, RB DEN

6.01 Chester Taylor, RB MIN

9.12 Chris Henry, RB TEN

12.01 Lorenzo Booker, RB MIA

What a tough spot to draft from. This might be the first year I'd take Manning at #11 or #12. Brown scares me, as he just can't immerge from Ricky's smoke screen. (literally) I can't really fault you for that pick, during the infamous Jetdoc Rb run, but I am glad you hedged that bet with Henry. The rest of the backs are kind of a crap shoot, with Taylor still the depth chart starter. I feel he will do more early in the season, then kind of fade. With Lendale's track record, Chris Henry might really be a sleeper. BOOKER???? Why did you draft him?? (Oh yeah.......I drafted him for you) Grade B-

3.12 TJ Housmanzadeh, WR CIN

5.12 Reggie Brown, WR PHI

7.12 Tony Gonzalez, WR KCC

8.01 Jeremy Shockey, WR NYG

10.01 Devery Henderson, WR NOS

Housh is in the place Wayne was for many years. It seemed like the Colts would feed Wayne early in the season to loosen up Marvin. That is what Cincy did last season, and Housh was money early. Brown at #2 might pay off with Stallworth gone, and LJ banged up. Gonzo and Shockey will hopefully contribute in the redzone, otherwise you could have likely found better wide receiver #'s from wide receivers in this format. I thought henderson was a steal in round 10. Grade C-

Over all, you will need solid, steady performance out of Brady, Henry, and Housh. The keys to the team are for Brown and Brown to step up. I actually see Devery pushing to be your #2 Receiver, at least a good #3. I loved scoring him in the 10th, and your pick of Henry in round 2. The back to back TE's hurt on the corner
