p.man 7 Posted June 16, 2007 2-0 over the Yankees. It snaps the Mets 5 game losing streak and ends the Yanks 9 game winning streak.

p.man 7 Posted June 16, 2007 Reyes finally hit a Hr. It was his first Hr in 200 at bats. He stole 3 bases tonight too.
Old Sarge 0 Posted June 16, 2007 Too many missed opportunities. Perez pitched well, some nice defensive plays and speed helped the Mets. You could time Clemens delivery to home plate with a sundial and they ran all over him.
Big Blue 06 196 Posted June 16, 2007 Clemens pitched well, but they were able to get a huge jump on him; Posada had no chance. To me, it seemed like the Yankees didn't get any breaks tonight. Aside from the missed opportunities, the play where Cairo was possibly robbed of a 3 run HR and Matsui got doubled off of second; just a really tough play. The Yankees missed too many scoring opportunities, especially early on in the game. They'll have to get em tomorrow.
p.man 7 Posted June 16, 2007 The Mets have assured themselves of at least a season split because they took 2 of 3 from the Yanks at Shea Stadium. But 1 more win will give them both series this year.

The Mutts MUST redeem themselves and beat that pubescent pitcher and beat him good.
