Gallagher argued taxpayer money won't be used for the foot baths because the $100,000 total bill for the bathrooms is underwritten by a fee students pay for building maintenance.

 

Doesn't seem like the ACLU has much to do with this case. This was a University decision based on their populace of students. It is true that any student can use the baths, not just Muslims.

 

Also, it looks like nobody at EMU had a problem. I guarantee that EMU gets millions of $$$ from Muslim students. Spending $25k on the foot baths pales in comparison.

 

Probably more troubling to me is your attitude towards the Muslims. You know who these people are? I don't know how educated you actually are. As the article states, there are 250,000 Muslims in the Detroit area. A lot of them are exiles from Iraq under Hussein's rule. The others made a decision to move to the US for a better life than what they had in the Middle East. These aren't the Muslims that want to kill us. Sure, there may be a few in the bunch. But I've yet to hear about one terrorist attack in the Detroit or Michigan area. Detroit and EMU seem to be doing very well on their own with Muslims without interference. You posted yesterday in another thread about rebuilding Iraq, establishing peace, and that it would take a long time. If we can't start by integrating peaceful Muslims into our own society, how are we supposed to make the peace elsewhere in the world?

My problem is with the ACLU, not the muslims.....although nothing you can say can convince me that at minimum 35-40% of all muslims are 100% behind the Caliphate that the radicals are trying to impose. Thats at least 400 million world wide.

Why would they be behind this and not optional bible study? The religion that is the inspiration behind our very way of life in the US. I think all religion is bogus, my problem is with the ACLU ( all libs ) hypocrisy. And honestly, the very reason you can dance around this country and do whatever you want in a whim is because of people like me putting the pieces of the puzzle together before people like yourself allow it to become just another shitt house on the side of the road. If you can honestly say that becoming MORE like the middle east is a better path than the one we are on now then you honestly need to stay out of the voting booth. And no, diversity is not our strength, its tearing this country to shreds on a daily basis.....work ethic and getting sh!t done no matter the cost is what propels this country forward in spite of those who try to drag us down.

Also, I don't understand how you can say we need to rebuild Iraq, yet you take this stance on working, taxpaying Muslims within our own borders that are citizens with a right to vote, just as much as you or I, that want to send their kids to college. You also conveniently avoided the topic I posted about US aid to Palestine.

 

Even the Bush admin is trying to establish the peace (in their own way).

 

It looks paradoxical to me that you have the paranoid attitude that most of them want to kill us, yet you are for rebuilding Iraq. Why would you want to do that if you don't trust them and could never make peace with them?

 

I guess my question is, what is your utopia re: Muslims? It doesn't seem to me that your attitudes add up.

I didnt say most want to kill us, I said 35-40% support the Caliphate. 30-40% of Americans support the war but you dont see us doing any of the killing, we support through votes and funding. While the minority support a Caliphate it only takes 5-10 million to do the killing and rest push for it via tacit or overt support through voting, funding and the slow creep that has brought sharia law to parts of Canada and the UK. These things dont happen through a "small" number of radicals, the small number does the killing ( which is growing ) and the rest sit idly by silently salivating at the success they are having.

 

As far as Iraq, no democracy has ever gone to war with another democracy, thats why im behind the war. The muslims have yet to have a period of enlightenment ala the Christians and just about every other focking religion out there. Its always taken us, white anglos, to simmer the phucking animals down and if this war does it, im all for it. Call it racist, call it prejudiced, call it what you want, personally I call it history and Ive got plenty of text to back me up.

Im not dumb enough to want a utopia, ill settle for a suicide bombing every other month as opposed to daily. As far as middle east solutions go, the absolute pinnacle of solutions would be cold fusion energy or some other form to bring them to their knees as the absolute only thing keeping them goin is oil. Short of that, kill the craziness out of them.
