davebg 0 Posted June 28, 2007 I was thinking of signing up for an account. I know they've gotten a lot of bad reviews for their shipping times, especially if you are on the east coast, but it looks like they added a distribution center in Pittsburgh, which should help solve that problem. FOCK! was i wrong. it's obviously the same basic idea but it takes like a week to send back and receive your next game and they don't have SHIIT in stock. i mean, what's the point if all the new games aren't available? unless you're trying to rent games that are at least a year old you're wasting your time. i canceled my membership about 2 months ago...thank God, that's over. DON'T DO IT DAVE!!!

DON'T DO IT DAVE!!! What state are you in? I've read a bunch online about all of this and it seems everyone's biggest complaint is the turn-around time. However, there are 2 things they've done that some people are saying has improved the service. The opened a distrib center on the east coast and they also have a new program w/the USPS where you get credited w/sending a game back as soon as the post office processes the game. So, they should be sending you your next game when the post office receives the game you just sent them, rather than gamefly waiting to send you the next game in your queue when they receive it. I am just so tempted to do it if for no other reason than the games for the PS3 have been so hit-or-miss that I am just tired of paying $60 for a game I may only play a few times. I was renting from Blockbuster, but they were getting something like almost $8/rental...plus late fees. Meh...fock it. I'll be the Geek Club guinea pig. If it sucks that bad I'll cancel. VA. but my biggest complaint wasn't game turnaround it was the fact that they didn't have D1ck in stock. unless you're in them mood to rent madden 07, NBA live 06 or whatever the hell else is a couple of years old don't bother. i think right before i canceled i had about 10 games in my queue that were all "unavailable" at once. davebg 0 Posted July 2, 2007 Well, so far so good. I signed up on 6/28 and set up my GameQ. I only put down two games that had been released: Tom Clancy Rainbow Six Vegas and the Darkness (both for PS3.) Both games are brand new and just came out a couple of days earlier. Rainbow Six Vegas shipped that day (6/28) and Darkness shipped the following day (6/29)...I received both in the mail today.
