League's 1st Keeper year

Recommended Posts

10 teams. Of the ones worth mentioning, I was left with:

QB

Palmer

Bulger

RB

Bush

Maroney

WR

Holtz

Hoshmanz

Fitzgerald

I'm thinking Bulger/Maroney or Palmer/Maroney just to keep a RB. Advice?

I would say Bush Maroney depending on the rules. You can get a QB in the draft for this year. However if QB gets 6 points a TD then Palmer/Maroney would be good. Bush is hard to give up though.

keep bush maroney, they are both young and you can keep them for years to come, and good running backs are hard to come by in keeper leagues.

If it's 6pts for passing TD's I'd go Palmer/Maroney if not then definately Bush/Maroney. Palmer has 30+ TD potential and Maroney in that offense should produce 12+ TD's since he will be the primary back now (Dillon had 3 years of 12+ TD's in NE) and just think of how much more room he'll have to show off his speed with Moss/Stallworth/Welker drawing attention. I wouldn't fault you for taking Bush over Maroney either, but I'm sure we'll see much of the same in regards to the Saints running game where Deuce will get most if not all of the goalline carries. Of course Bush does have the explosiveness to take it to the house everytime.
