Fantakai 0 Posted September 5, 2007 need a little help on the WR2 spot and flex starting: QB: favre RB1: rudi WR1: TO trying to fill a WR2 spot and flex. options are: Ronnie Brown (RB)- Was T. Bell (RB)- Oak Plaxico (WR)- Dal Braylon Edwards (WR)- Pit R. Moss (WR)- NYJ i'm leaning towards: RB2- Ronnie WR2- Moss Flex- T. Bell really NOT sure about bell and what detroit can do offensively vs oakland. i see detroit running the ball because the oak secondary will shut down the passing game. however, their run game isn't all that strong either. moss and plax are currently question marks. braylon is starting, so that WR2 spot is up for grabs. i'm thinking moss though, but there are so many options for brady, including another deep threat in a healthier stallworth. any help? link to your's, i'll offer my two cents! Eriadoc 4 Posted September 5, 2007 I would definitely start both RBs. I think TBell will have an OK game against the Raiders, mostly due to the passing game opening things up for him. I am not sold that he'll do wonderfully, but it's better than the other options you present. I would start Plax vs. Dallas. The Dallas secondary is not that impressive in coverage beyond Newman, and Plax will get his shots in. RMoss is too much of a wild card at this point for my liking. Edwards is not even an option, IMO. He's never really proven anything, he's on a team that is in the midst of a QB controversy, and he's facing PIT. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284276
-bp- 0 Posted September 5, 2007 I'm thinking exactly what you are, gotta go with the RB at flex, and Moss is the safest choice for now and most likely the rest of the year unless Edwards or Plax put together some incredible games.
Bbleehehh9 0 Posted September 5, 2007 Im going to have to say go Ronnie Brown, Tatum Bell and Moss... Brown is a no brainer and seems to be the best play there.. Tatum Bell is the featured back in Detroit, at least for now, and I see them putting up a ton of points against Oakland in that game. That should mean at least one, and probably 2 scores for Bell... The WR position was the hardest to decide.. I just have a feeling that Moss is going to come out strong and silence all of his critics after that debacle he called a season last year.. GL here's a little wrinkle. terence newman is doubtful for the opener. plax practiced this week. still leaning towards moss, but who knows about that hammy.... stratmel 4 Posted September 5, 2007 I'd go Ronnie, Tater, Plax. Seems like the best matchups to me.
