brycebolt 0 Posted September 8, 2007 Need help picking my flex position. I'm in a 12 team league with PPR, 10 yards per point rushing/receiving, and 6 points per TD. Marshawn Lynch vs Denver or Mark Clayton vs Cinci Thanks!
FFBGuy 0 Posted September 8, 2007 I usually like to go with RB's in flex decisions, but in a PPR league I think I'd go with Mark Clayton. Cincy's pass D is pretty weak.
phillyjinx 21 Posted September 8, 2007 PPR or not I still usually put RB's in the flex. Plus Clayton is hobbled w/injury at the moment. His chemistry could be off with lack of reps during the preseaon w/ McNair.

Saintbourbon 0 Posted September 8, 2007 I'm struggling with this same option (also a PPR league). I could also insert blaylon edwards. I'm favoring lynch, though at this point as I drafted him higher than clayton. Most of my bench/start sites, though list clayton as a good start and lynch as a bench. I think with the ankle injury, I'll keep lynch in the lineup unless any homers can convince me otherwise
MTSkiBum 1,620 Posted September 8, 2007 The problem with starting lynch in a PPR league is that he is going to be pulled in 3rd down situations because he is such a terrible pass blocker. Also A-train is going to be the goal line back as well. So i dont see lynch getting a ton of receptions early this year, untill he gets more practice picking up the blitz. Also couple that with the fact that Mark Claytons injury really wasnt that severe. It was reported as a high ankle sprain for the first few days, although the MRI came back negative and it was just a normal ankle sprain. Have none of you guys ever had an ankle sprain, 2 weeks is more than enough time to 100% recover. I would flip a coin to determine who to start here I would definently start Edwards over lynch in a PPR league, steelers did nothing to improve their secondary in the offseason and last year everyone and their mom burned steelers deep. jdjacks10 0 Posted September 8, 2007 I would go with LYNCH. Clayton is injuried plus Lynch will catch some balls out of the backfield. Heres mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=285320
