sd1973 0 Posted September 9, 2007 Evans should be a no brainer, but he has Bailey and Bly to go against... Anyway, what do you think are my 2 best options?
Buck Naked 0 Posted September 9, 2007 I'd go Evans and Moss. Take a look at mine, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=285191
rdove4 0 Posted September 9, 2007 I'll go out on a limb and say Moss and Holmes. Evans has a horrible match-up; Holmes will be going against a rookie CB. I'm a Browns fan, so it hurts to recommend a Steeler. But, you probably didn't draft Evans in the first few rounds to sit on the bench either. Here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=285488
darrenhdrider 0 Posted September 9, 2007 Evans and Moss. Browns can't stop the run but their corners are very good. Don't sleep on E Wright at CB.... Even though Evans has to go up against Champ and Bly, he's really the ONLY option in BUF. Lynch has been terrible behind a terrible line. Plus Buf will be behind throwing the ball all day. Thanks for the response.
montana 89 Posted September 9, 2007 holmes is a given IMO. now the real choice is moss or evans? i maybe crazy here, but im still starting evans. bailey is a freaking monster & if they put him on evans all day, we'll be lucky for him to get 30yrds. but that being said, i gotta believe buffalo will move evans around a little & try to match him up on bly as much as they can. if that happens, evans can beat bly for sure. bly is older & has to play more on instincts than pure speed & athletic ability as does bailey. if bailey makes a mistake, his speed is more than enough to get him back into the play, not so with bly. bly takes gambles & if he makes a mistake, he's toast. that being said, i think buffalo will try to match up against bly on evans as much as they can & i can see evans beating bly on 1 long one (most likely on a stop-n-go route). i still think evans puts up around 6 catches for 80-90yrds. flip a coin on a td however. alldayarbymojo 0 Posted September 9, 2007 Evans no doubt. #1 period. Washington not a passing team. Not Santana Moss. Name is cooler than his stats. Santonio has better stats per game and IS in a passing offense. Evans and Holmes. No brainer.
Buck Naked 0 Posted September 9, 2007 I think Moss has had a good camp and looks like he is back. I think EVans breaks lose for a big play deep which is his specialty. Denver should have a great secondary but they look bad this preseason, as a collective team. Like I have said befre I think the Buff O will struggle overall (esp Lynch) but Evans is the one lone bright spot in this otherwise pit of despair.
