dpbuddha 9 Posted September 19, 2007 You listed Northcutt in your title but not in the body of the post. I think he might be your best choice but you're going to be constantly kicking yourself by benching the guy who goes off from week to week. If there is ANY way to trade for a legitimate WR then you really need to look into that first. Please see mine
nategraduates 0 Posted September 19, 2007 Joe Horn probably needs to be dumped, even if Leftwich can come into that offense in a couple of weeks as a starter there would still need to be chemistry developed with his WR core, and opposing d-lines should rip him apart with that slow motion release. Too much risk for so little gain from Horn right now. I would also be wary of Crayton's production or lack there of from here on out. He dislocated his finger and Sam Hurd filled in nicely while he was getting it popped back in. He could steal some receptions from Crayton and lower his value. The 49er air attack looks absolutely horrible, I definitely would not start Arnaz until Alex Smith can throw at least 2 touchdowns in a game and amass 250 yards. Battle might be on the verge of dumping in a couple weeks if that passing game doesn't start producing. I would also go with Northcutt, but then again he is Northcutt. I would also look into Jason Avant as he looks like the most reliable set of hands so far for McNabb and PHI. Once that offense picks up (it should anyway), he should be a prime receiver to get 6-8 passes thrown his way every night.
C_Blade 0 Posted September 19, 2007 Do you start 3 WRs or 4? Since you have 6, I'll guess you start 4. I think Marty Booker is actually top choice right now followed by Jason Avant and then Dennis Northcutt. For sure, keep Marvin Harrison and Lee Evans. Crayton's a gamble, but keep him to see this week, I'd say. Joe Horn needs to be cut or at least benched. Arnaz Battle could be better. Stallworth has been sucking. You'd think with such a great QB that he would do way better but I'd almost say cut him.
Melvinbet 5 Posted September 19, 2007 James Jones has been getting better every week. He's a big strong guy with great hands and should start getting more redzone opportunities. The thing to consider though is Favre has been spreading the ball around, including both RB's. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=288737
cdavidw 0 Posted September 19, 2007 I'd cut Horn. Avant looks like a viable WR3 and McNabb really seems to look for him the last two games (I have Brown - I know ) Cut Horn and pickup Avant or Furrey
bgia13 0 Posted September 19, 2007 Avant is probably the best pickup as of now, but I do like McDonald. If he goes off in week 3, he's gonna be looking like a pretty solid fantasy contributer even if he is 4th on the depth chart. I would also drop Horn. ATL right now is just a disaster. I WILL CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR POST IF YOU ANSWER MINE....THANKS you have to be patient with receivers. Most of them just don't score consistently every week. if you start 3 then i would go with harrison(obviously), evans(he will come around). i would drop horn and add Jones. from there i would play the #3 matchup game each week depending on who looked better. stallworth, battle, crayton, and jones. ain't too bad as a group. thanks for mine. brownmikey 0 Posted September 20, 2007 i'd cut horn, time to plan his retirement party real soon. i like jacoby or mcdonald.
Trancedynasty 0 Posted September 20, 2007 hurry and go pick up jacoby jones!!! and drop battle lol. harrison is still fairly consistent you know, and i think he wil get his 1000 yrds+ and tds. Lee Evans seems to be a mystery to everyone, but i think he will be decent. Jacoby jones i think is the good #3 WR to start this week. Thanks for replying to mine

I WILL CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR POST IF YOU ANSWER MINE....THANKS I guess it depends on what kind of league you are in. If its PPR, then Furrey may be a solid choice. Though his targets will be down with the big two, Martz airs out Kitna 40+ times a game, meaning he will get his chances. I like James Jones second, but not as much as Furrey.
