mec411 0 Posted September 26, 2007 His team: Kitna.Big Ben.Schaub Roy Wlliams.Burleson.Driver.Arnaz Battle Ronnie Brown.Chris Brown.Brandon Jackson.MJD Winslow My team: VinceAlex Smith Curry.Jennings.Mark Clayton.Moose Muhammed.Roydell Williams Sjax.Henry.Pittman.Selvin Young Antonio Gates Owen Daniels Ok I am going to try and get MJD. He said he would entertain offers with Sjax. I am willing to part, but I would like to get something of very good quality in return. Any thoughts? I sent him an email saying what he thought about RW/MJD for Sjax/Curry. No response yet. I am sure that will fail to get his attention. So any other thoughts? I would like some suggestions on what to offer for some MJD. I am here for an hour and willing to help anyone out with their posts as well. Hit this up, I'll start with all of yours, thanks much. EDIT: Sorry about the confusion to the post. Thanks for your help.
the_evil_genius 0 Posted September 26, 2007 im al ittle confused as far as which players are on what team.im assuming you would be getting m.jd. and r.williams(det) for s-jax.if you absolutely have no rbs to start until s-jax comes back i guess you have to do it and hope m.j.d. wakes up. i still think s-jax will and have a better season.if this isnt a keeper league i would have to say go ahead and do it for the short term help it gives you. thanks for mine
WoodDuck2003 0 Posted September 26, 2007 If this is a redraft league I would consider trading S.Jax and this groin injury will linger all year. LT had this same injury in 2004 (I think that was the year) and all year his numbers were soft and Turner spelled him as soon as SD had a lead or had lost. If this is a keeper or dynasty do not trade S.Jax. If I were the owner of of S.Jax I would jump at the deal you offered. JMO. Good luck and thanks for seeing mine. hoffinglesby 0 Posted September 26, 2007 I'm curious, because in my league I am trying to get SJax... I think he will rebound and long term be a strong RB... Having said that would you accept J.Walker and Julius Jones (guy has MB3)? or am I to low?

Having said that would you accept J.Walker and Julius Jones (guy has MB3)? or am I to low? I would think about that trade, but only if I needed some WR strength. I guess I am biased because I have Jennings so I wouldnt want two guys on the same team. I would need a bit more of a productive RB, since JJ is basically a backup, and is hurt to boot. But I would counteroffer with a better RB and maybe a similar WR or Walker. Thanks for your reply.
Cowboys #1 0 Posted September 27, 2007 SJAX could come back stronger then ever, on the other hand it could linger all season long. Your choice dude. If I had to I would ask for Kitna and MJD. Would help you at the QB position. You need it.
hoffinglesby 0 Posted September 27, 2007 Agreed that you need the QB help... Alex Smith is dead weight... Pick up Carr or CPep or Griese at least...

raisedbywolves 0 Posted September 27, 2007 rw/mjd would definitely be good value for you. see if you can land that.
mec411 0 Posted September 27, 2007 Ive been readin that Sjax could be out only 2-3 weeks. If thats the case, wouldnt Sjax and Curry be a pretty good deal for RW and MJD?
raisedbywolves 0 Posted September 27, 2007 groin injuries aren't easy to recover from, they linger and will hamper s-jax's cutting ability and explosiveness ... even if it is 2-3 weeks, i think roy williams would be a huge help to your receiving corps and mjd, if he goes into second half form from last year, should be able to make up for it. Yeah i just dont see him doing it. Would you do this trade if Williams was taken out and Driver was in? Then it would be Sjax/Curry for Driver/MJD, what you think Wolves or anyone else? cdavidw 0 Posted September 27, 2007 I think RW/MJD for SJax/Curry is a fair trade, if he'll do it. I almost feel like you may be getting the shorter end of the stick IF Sjax comes back and produces like last year, but there's the chance he doesn't fully recover from the groin tear. Offer that, and see what he says.
