GettnHuge 2 Posted October 10, 2007 That's the rumour coming out of Penn St. That the old man cut someone off on the road, which soon spiraled into the type of tirade that he puts on the refs. updatored http://www.philly.com/dailynews/sports/200...TTANY_LION.html Paterno irked over questions about off-field antics By BERNARD FERNANDEZ EVEN UNDER the most ideal circumstances, Penn State football coach Joe Paterno approaches press conferences with the wariness of a dental patient keeping an appointment for a root canal. "I don't enjoy this, but I have to do it," Paterno, 80, said yesterday of his weekly question-and-answer sessions with the media. "It goes with the territory." ------------------------------------------- The grand old man of Penn State football himself even was asked about whether he was involved in an apparent road-rage incident on campus Friday afternoon, the day before the Nittany Lions' 27-7 victory over Iowa in Beaver Stadium. An exasperated Paterno replied, "Aw, come on. Let's go." He would not address the matter further. Penn State police are looking into the alleged incident. They declined to release the names of those involved because the investigation is ongoing.
GettnHuge 2 Posted October 11, 2007 What I'm hearing is that this woman cut off Paterno and at a stop he got out and went up to her window. He started shaking his finger and told her that he has a license number and that he oughta call the police about the way she is driving. Well that's when her husband stepped in and said: Hey that's my wife you're talking to! Paterno said: That's your problem. and went back to his car.
