#1LionFan 0 Posted October 11, 2007 I own Romo & Bulger and I am thinking of dropping Berrian and adding Kurt Warner off the wire. Do I start Warner @ CAR over Romo v NE Def this week? That NE Def really scares me! -OR- Should I just pass on Warner (who could be good trade bait) and p/u Curry, Jennings, or Crayton? My other WRs are Fitz, Evans, Welker, (and Berrian who I am going to drop). NOTE: It does not really help me to drop Bulger for Warner since Romo and Warner both have week 8 Byes. THANKS MUCH! ybrik111 0 Posted October 11, 2007 I wish I could pick up Warner. I think Romo is your starter every week so only pick Warner up to keep him off everybody else's team or to trade him. I would drop Berrian for Crayton right away anyway. see mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=295205
Cal_Fan_AG 0 Posted October 12, 2007 If crayton and jennings weren't on the wire I'd say definitely p/u warner, but crayton is the #2 on a great dallas offense (and #2 to owens means lots more looks as the season wears on). Plus, he's still returning kicks. And jennings has now scored 1 td in each of the 3 games he's played. Farvre has found him a lot coming through the middle. Definitely get crayton and I'm very tempted to tell you to pick up jennings for welker. You're just kinda stuck with romo this week (there could be worse qbs to be stuck with). Plus, they're in dal for the game. While I normally would stay away from starting the wr who's catching passes from your qb (there's a chance they score few points this week), with an offense like dal i'd say start as many of them as you can own. Minn d/st or Wash d/st?
Leshavelli 0 Posted October 12, 2007 Actually, I would start Berrian this week vs. Minnesota because they are last in the league in passing. I would still pick up Crayton, but not drop Berrian. I would also drop Bulger and pick up Warner. Finally, I would start Warner this week as he has been on fire and Romo is up against a tough NE defense. I would still start Romo. To me its a win win situation. This game will be close and he will throw 2 tds or they will be playing from behind and be forced to throw. I think my Browns had a decent game plan last week but with Lewis out of the game early it just put too much pressure on Alexander to throw. I would go with Romo. This is not the time to insert a backup although the timing could not be better.
bill belichik's hoody 0 Posted October 12, 2007 i would not bench tony romo this season until he has more than one subpar performance. even when he throws 5 picks he does okay in fantasy. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=295208
