Pick up MJD? Drop Evans?

I'm 2-3 and think I need to shake up my roster.

 

Should I drop Thomas Jones to get Maurice Jones-Drew?

Should I drop Lee Evans to get Shaun McDonald, Jerry Porter or Chris Cooley?

Evans is having a bad year with no signs that he's coming out of it. McDonald is on a team that loves to throw the ball. You'll only feel a little dumb if Edwards starts finding Evans b/c McDonald should put up good WR3 (decent wr2) numbers each week. TE can be so hit or miss. Don't pick up cooley until they play the giants again. They stink against receiving te.

 

Jones has been bitching about not getting enough carries. And rightfully so. MJD looks like he'll be in a cowboys type situation, being the useful half of a tandem. Stick with jones. With more carries his points will come.

Can you add MJD & drop someone else? Must not be a very large league huh?

 

I have held on to Evans and will continue to do so. He is as explosive as anyone and he will be later in the year IMO.

Can you drop anyone else for MJD? If not, I would stick with Thomas Jones!

I would hold on to Evans just in case him and Edwards start having better chemistry!

Can you drop Evans and pick up MJD? If so, I would go that route. If not, I would probably hold off and keep Evans for a bit. I agree with the guy above, Evans is explosive and there is no way that he won't break out (at least to some degree) at some point this year.

I have held on to Evans and will continue to do so. He is as explosive as anyone and he will be later in the year IMO.

I agree. I also don't think Edwards will keep the starting gig when Losman is back (a week or 2). Losman and Evans have good chemistry and Evans is known as a "second half WR". He started off very slow last year and really came on at the end.

 

As for MJD/Jones it's a wash. Jones is giving up some carries to Leon and MJD to Taylor. Taylor is pretty banged up so MJD might be the better back at this point. The NYJ O-line isn't giving Jones any room to run, so I'd be inclined to go with MJD at this point.
