Fred Taylor (groin) is listed as questionable for Week 6.

It appears Taylor will be a game-time decision against the Texans. Maurice Jones-Drew would get a big bump in value if Jacksonville opts to sit Taylor to avoid re-aggravating an injury that is believed to have been suffered in practice. Fred Taylor (questionable, groin) confirmed Friday that his status for Week 6 won't be known until just before game time.

"I know I could go if I wanted," Taylor said. "But we don't have any more off weeks. I'll get out there, stretch and see how it feels. At practice today, I was able to explode on it. I think they're gonna leave it up to me, but we'll see." Maurice Jones-Drew will start against Tennessee if Fragile Fred can't.

If I was an MJD owner I wouldn't get too excited. Other then breaking off one run this year he has done NOTHING.

 

Maybe he'll break out this week and prove 2006 wasn't a fluke, but I wouldn't put any money on it.

I got him so late this year i didn't think his fragility could hurt me. But with Addai on a bye week I might be stuck having to start Thomas Jones again

Yeah i'm in a dilemna, start Rudi, Watson, MBIII or MJD. I'm thinking MJD now but i'll wait to hear about status's tomorrow. I traded for MJD last week. Selvin Young for MJD. I want to use my new player, so i may just start MJD regardless
