when i'm in the shower i blow my nose in my hand then rinse it under the shower-head...

Not me. I plug one nostril with a finger and blow out my nose as hard as I can, thus shooting said booger onto wall of showerstall and repeat with other nostril. The wife absolutely loves it when I do this

i too practice the 'snot rocket' but only when i'm outside... when in the shower i have no problems usin the hand

I would call this more disgusting than old-fashioned, but that's just me.
