OK the following was just propsed to me in a PPR league that also favors QB with the points system.

 

I get:

Jeff Garcia

Shaun McDonald

 

I give:

Brandon Jacobs

Santonio Holmes

 

The rest of my roster is as follows

QB: (start 2) McNabb, Rivers, Warner

RB: Addai, Parker, Barber, B.Jacobs, J.Jones

WR: Roy Williams, V.Jackson, Edwards, Holmes, Bowe

TE: Witten, Des. Clark

K: Folk

DEF: (start 2) Arizona, Minnesota, Tennessee

you're pretty stacked at rb, not so much at wr. roy williams has been off lately, and i'm guessing you probably start him and edwards. i guess you're basically trying to 'upgrade' at qb here by acquiring garcia, but i think you could get much better value after jacobs' big game last week and holmes having another good game as well. garcia and mcdonald for both of them is just not doing it, in my mind.

Okay so I have Holt, S. Moss, and Bowe at WR- Ouch I know. I also have Ben Watson and Greg Olsen at TE. I have an owner who is fat at WR and in need of a TE. I want to offer him Watson for either Deion Branch or L. Coles. Think either of these are doable? Thanks.

you could get garcia straight-up for him, or even someone like eli or haselbeck depending on if the other team needs an rb bad or not. just don't include holmes as part of it.

I think you could definitely get a better qb for Jacobs, like what about Big Ben, Favre, I like the Eli move or just do Garcia straight up or trade Barber for Garcia straight up, that's the move I'd try to make.

I would offer Jacobs for players like big ben, farve, or eli but since we start 2 QB's people want a lot more for them. I will try and offer jacobs for one of those QB's and see.

I like Barber for Garcia, straight up, better than the original trade proposal.

I agree, you are giving up way to much in the original offer. I would try Jacobs for Eli as well.
