WindyCitySportsFan 0 Posted October 24, 2007 There is a team who is relatively thin at rb and I have White, Foster, and K. Jones available to trade. I can... Try to buy low on Harrison who isn't having a typical season in the hopes that turns around. Try to somehow take Braylon Edwards despite his great season by his standards. Try to buy low again on Roy Williams who is having a bad year. Try for Fitzgerald even though I already have Boldin Finally, take the Santonio Holmes for K. Jones offer that is in front of me right now. (I haven't heard back about switching White for K. Jones) My counterpart has Maroney, Jordan, T. Jones, and SJax (inj.) but coming back with a bad o-line. My question is what's acceptable to you? To make it easy just rate them 1-5.
raisedbywolves 0 Posted October 24, 2007 buying low on harrison is a good possibility. you'd probably have to give up kevin jones and foster too in the process, though. braylon, not gonna happen with you giving up those pieces. he's too good. you'd need more. williams might be a possibility, depending on the other team's receivers. once again, you'd probably have to give up a combo of two backs for him. he's not having a bad year, he had 3 excellent games to start and 3 bad ones, but he's still pretty high up on overall receivers. getting fitz is kinda pointless, i don't like having too many people on the same team. and the holmes deal is pretty good unless you're really hurting at rb. thePRO 78 Posted October 24, 2007 I going to say the Roy Williams or the Holmes trade is what you need to go for... Harrison still has Manning and you know that Harrison is just not going to be unproductive for the rest of the year, he'll still have some big games. Braylon is the main target over in Cle so keep him. The reason I said Roy Williams is because they don't have the easiest schedule from here and Kitna is too hot/cold and even when he's hot he is sometimes hitting everyone except Roy Williams. Plus they'll be running it more now with K. Jones.

Hahha sorry, I'm half asleep over here I get it, it doesn't change anything though, but you should attempt to get them in this order: 1)Edwards 2)Harrison 3)Holmes 4)Williams 5)Fitzgerald (wouldn't do this one at all because you have Boldin and they're like Wayne/Harrison, one usually has a big day and the other doesn't do much)
rdrs4life 0 Posted October 24, 2007 I'd try to get Roy. I see his production increasing 2nd half. Braylon you'd have to overpay too much IMO, and I'm not sure what the problem is with marvin but i'm not sold he'll turn it around. Fitzgerald I wouldn't mind having even though you have boldin, it dont matter really they both put up points. Of course these all depend on who you'd have to give to get what. Santonio for K Jones i definitely would not do.
