Dabears33 0 Posted November 2, 2007 Looking for some help on who to start a flex spot. Here is what I am starting; QB: Rothlesberger RB: Gore, JLewis WR: CJohnson, Whitten K: JReed DEF: SD Instead of TE we get a bonus player. I have the following options; Warner @ TB (tough against the pass) Grant @ KC (pass first team) RWilliams vs DEN (Going against Champ) Leave a link.... TX Steel 0 Posted November 2, 2007 I'd say Grant. Yes GB is pass-happy but it did even out last week when Grant got into his groove. They want to run more and I think it will show, especially against KC. Second choice is Warner and Williams is not an option. Here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=299780
bobby332 0 Posted November 2, 2007 I agree - Grant. Even though he may not be the most talented and GB is more pass happy, I think he gets a decent amount of scoring chances the way that offense is clicking right now. Coach was pretty confident in naming the starter.... Here's my post on a potential trade: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=299779
rottytiny 7 Posted November 2, 2007 I'd have to go with Williams, hes due and is a stud, IMO. He will get modest numbers at worst and may blow up, hes capable every week. Denver CBs are good but the packers did some damage and Roy is better then any WR the PAck have. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=299793
Leshavelli 0 Posted November 2, 2007 I like Grant. KC is giving up about 4.2 ypc. They defend the pass pretty well. I see this being a hard-nose, smashmouth type of game with LJ getting a boatload of carries. GB will have to establish the run/playaction if they want to find success in the passing game. They did that perfectly vs. Denver last week and should be able to do it again, this week. Thanks for answering mine.

Roaddoggs 0 Posted November 2, 2007 Grant, Warner, then Williams
BG711 0 Posted November 2, 2007 Even though I don't know the scoring for Qbs in your league, I would go with Warner. I need to see more than one week from Grant and Detroit will be focusing on the running game this week. I like the upside a QB can give you in scoring more, so go with Warner. Thanks for mine.
