JIMMY51 0 Posted November 25, 2007 I just bought a Dell laptop and a Microsoft wireless mouse. I plugged the mouse in to the USB port. The receiver light and the mouse light are both on. The device manager says the mouse is working but I can't get it to do anything. Do I have to shut the touchpad off or change some setting somewhere? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

killersquids 3 Posted November 26, 2007 I've seen it take a few minutes before the mouse will work. Also, try rebooting with the mouse plugged in before doing anything else. Then google the issue. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
