joellarocca 0 Posted December 12, 2007 I got the first round bye last week and now I have a lot of decisions going into our conference finals this week. If I win I am in the fantasy bowl... Basic rules.... .5 PPR, 1 point per 15yds rush/rec, 1 point per 25yds passing, 6pts per TD. Who I plan on starting now have *'s. I can either do 2 RB / 2 WR or 1 RB / 3 WR. QB - *D. Brees vs ARI K. Warner @ NOR RB - *C. Portis @ NYG K. Jones @ SDG M. Morris @ CAR L. Jordan vs IND L. Betts @ NYG WR - *T. Owens vs PHI *P. Burress vs WAS *B. Berrian @ MIN J. Cotchery @ NWE A. Gonzalez @OAK B. Johnson @NO DEF - *Seattle @ CAR K - *Josh Brown @ CAR Kevin Jones did awesome last week, but he has been so up and down as to whether or not DET will use him or not. Berrian has a great matchup with MIN, but how will it be with Orton as QB? Burress had a good week last week, but he hasn't been as hot as the beginning of the year. Let me know what you guys think. Leave yours and I will answer....
HTownSmitty 0 Posted December 12, 2007 I'd definitely make one change there...last time we saw Kyle Orton he was throwing 5 yards downfield, incomplete on the few pass plays they ran. If Berrian scores it will be a miracle. If he catches more than 3 passes, a miracle. Roll with the hot hand in Gonzalez. Oakland will be rolling their coverage over to Wayne just like Baltimore did last Sunday. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=305874
maqs31 0 Posted December 12, 2007 Would go w/ Portis and KJ paired w/ TO and Plaxico. Don't trust Bernard as Chicago's offense is too inconsistent. Plus KJ's up agains SD w/o Merriman in the Middle. Help w/ mine.
Slick20 0 Posted December 12, 2007 I agree Berrian is a risky player this week thanks to Orton getting the start. I think I would replace him with Kevin Jones as I see Detroit trying to establish the run early in this contest with Shawne Merriman out for this game. I know he is risky but not any more risky then Berrian with Orton throwing him the ball.
harasenaid 0 Posted December 12, 2007 I'd probably switch out Berrian for Gonzales as well. I'm in a PPR league and I always try to put in a WR for my flex just because I'm usually guarenteed "more" points. I hate that I still have Harrison rotting on my bench. Damn second round pick. Thanks for mine!
WoodDuck2003 0 Posted December 13, 2007 I would for sure start Portis/TO/Burress. Now as for the 4th I agree it should not be any Bear period! That said I would go with either KJ or Gonzo. Both have good matchups it just depends on which KJ shows up. The good thing is KJ will get his chances and can catch the ball out of the back field and it is usually better to start a RB over a WR unless you are starting a really good WR, and Berrian ain't it right now with Orton at the helm. Good luck and thanks for seeing mine.
