Mid way take on teams (Updated)

Recommended Posts

Fantasy King

1.01 LaDainian Tomlinson, RB SDC

2.12 TJ Houshmanzadeh, WR CIN

3.01 Marques Colston, WR NOS

4.12 Derek Anderson, QB CLE

5.01 Julius Jones, RB SEA

6.12 Tony Gonzalez, WR/TE KCC

7.01 Matt Forte, RB CHI

---------------------------------------

RB's- LT is always the great equalizer. He buffets an otherwise weak Rb group. Some filling in will solidify this bunch.

WR's- When I see these 3 WR's I see TD's. It is a very strong bunch!

QB's- He got his man! I feel the pundits have Anderson rated a bit low, but I don't know about this high.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vikings4ever

1.02 Adrian Peterson, RB MIN

2.11 Maurice Jones-Drew, RB JAX

3.02 Tony Romo, QB DAL

4.11 Roy Williams, WR DET

5.02 Greg Jennings, WR GBP

6.11 Chris Chambers, WR SDC

7.02 Rashard Mendenhall, RB PIT

-----------------------------------------

RB's - AD, MJD, and Mendenhall add up to a heap of scoring. Work is done here!

WR's - Williams, Jennings, and Chambers were brilliant grabs! Work done here!

QB's - The early grab on Romo, now looks like a great plan in action.

I always love V4E's draft plans, though this year he changed it up substantially, and is leading this draft!!! Great Work!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

robb

1.03 Steven Jackson, RB STL

2.10 Andre Johnson, WR HOU

3.03 Steve Smith, WR CAR

4.10 Rudi Johnson, RB CIN

5.03 Lee Evans, WR BUF

6.10 Cedric Benson, RB CHI

7.03 Jay Cutler, QB DEN

---------------------------------

RB's - Jackson's return to dominance is needed, as Rudi and Benson have a few clouds hanging over them. I loved Rudi late in the 4th though. This group can be solidified quite easily.

WR's - AJ, Steve Smith, and Evans are very solid! Work done here!

QB's - Most have Cutler rated much higher than I. I see hit and miss production from him, and a solid second QB a must.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Da Bomb

1.04 Brian Westbrook, RB PHI

2.09 Larry Fitzgerald, WR ARI

3.04 Brandon Marshall, WR DEN

4.09 Calvin Johnson, WR DET

5.04 LenDale White, RB TEN

6.09 Donald Driver, WR GBP

7.04 Ahman Green, RB GBP

---------------------------------

RB's - Westy and White are a great combo at 1 and 2, as Westy will always get 140 yds., and White will grab TD's, hopefully when Westy doesn't. Green? we'll have to wait and see, but the foundation for this group is laid! (White came Cheap)

WR's - Fitz, Marshall, and Driver are a great benefit of Bomb doing his homework and realizing when White would be available. Work done here!

QB - He is in great shape to grab a couple here, thanks to the foundation at RB and WR,and there are still plenty of options, and strategies at his disposal. This will be interesting to watch.

1.05 Joseph Addai, RB IND

2.08 Braylon Edwards, WR CLE

3.05 Edgerrin James, RB ARI

4.08 Drew Brees, QB NOS

5.05 Dwayne Bowe, WR KCC

6.08 DeAngelo Williams, RB CAR

7.05 Kevin Curtis, WR PHI

---------------------------------------------

RB's - Addai and Edge give me the carries I need. Addai is my big stick, and Edge my steady tortuise. (he beats the Hare) I need to fill in to solidify.

WR's - Outside of Braylon it ain't flashy, but bulk of my wideout work is finished, and I feel both Bowe and Curtis are on their way up.

QB's - Brees was my target in the 4th, but Bomb scares the $hit out of me, cuz he will pilfer one of the guys I covet as my backup for sure. My work is finished here though.

---------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------

Jetdoc

1.06 Randy Moss, WR NEP

2.07 Reggie Bush, RB NOS

3.06 Ronnie Brown, RB MIA

4.07 Thomas Jones, RB NYJ

5.06 Roddy White, WR ATL

6.07 Donovan McNabb, QB PHI

7.06 Jerricho Cotchery, WR NYJ

--------------------------------------

RB's - Grabbing 3 staright after the round 1 WR, was brilliant, and Bush brings plenty of upside. Brown can be a beast, and the Jets spent plenty of Jack to help Jones run this season. Work is basically complete here.

WR's - As with LT, Moss is the great equalizer. Roddy and Cotch compliment him well, and his work is done!

QB's - McNabb in the mid 6th is a nice grab. Westy makes his job much easier, and Curtis is only going to jibe better with him in his 2nd year.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fumbleweed

1.07 Tom Brady, QB NEP

2.06 Terrell Owens, WR DAL

3.07 Laurence Maroney, RB NEP

4.06 Earnest Graham, RB TBB

5.07 Jason Witten, WR/TE DAL

6.06 Carson Palmer, QB CIN

7.07 Laverneous Coles, WR NYJ

--------------------------------------

RB's - Maroney's usage needs to change, and that could well happen, as I don't feel the Pats are going to try to break scoring records again this year, but he still concerns me as a #1. Graham on the otherhand gets the hell used out of him, so I see it as a pair of real solid 2's. Fumble will work his RB magic here.

WR's - TO and Witten starting together virtually guarantees production, and Coles is a crafty old vet who gets plenty of redzone targets. His work is basically complete here.

QB's - This is Fumbles RB magic. He is done worying about this having 2 of the top 5 qb's in the draft, and Palmer arrived in the 6th. If he gets back on track, RB's won't be a problem.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

kutulu

1.08 Marshawn Lynch, RB BUF

2.05 Jamal Lewis, RB CLE

3.08 Plaxico Burress, WR NYG

4.05 Wes Welker, WR NEP

5.08 Jonathan Stewart, RB CAR

6.05 Kevin Smith, RB DET

7.08 Bobby Engram, WR SEA

---------------------------------------

RB's - This trio gives him one of the best backfields drafted. I drafted DWill in the 6th, and am hoping he keeps a role, but Stewart has the talent to do it all. His work is done here and all he can do is improve it, and that's scary!

WR's - This is a solid receiving corp, with Burress likely carrying the TD load. Welker and Engram will get plenty of catches, and they both are their respective QB's safety blankets. If Welker matches 2007 totals this team will be scary. Great job here, and the work is done.

QB's - They are getting fewer and further between, but there are still options. This is definitly becoming a concern, and will likely be addressed shortly. I like this team alot!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shane Falco

1.09 Marion Barber III, RB DAL

2.04 Peyton Manning, QB IND

3.09 Willie Parker, RB PIT

4.04 Darren McFadden, RB OAK

5.09 Marvin Harrison, WR IND

6.04 Hines Ward, WR PIT

7.09 Javon Walker, WR OAK

--------------------------------------

RB's - He's definitly banking on 2 of these backs keeping their roles. Barber should be a lock, but Parker's production will cut into considerably. The wildcard here is the usage of McFadden. I can't see him sitting on the bench long, but I also can't see them simply benching Fargas. Barber will get his TD's.......the question is will McFadden get to help?? Just a little work left to do here to get in my comfort zone.

WR's - Two HOF vets and one HOF wannabe, but all three with some questions. Hines will cover his share of the responsibilty, but I don't know what to expect out of Marvin at this point. You think he'd be healthy, but court is still out, and Shane might have the last laugh on this one. I don't trust Javon, and think he chose to take the wrong path a few years back. There are some good wideouts left, so he is replaceable.

QB's - Peyton Manning--------------'nuff said!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NAn

1.10 Clinton Portis, RB WAS

2.03 Ryan Grant, RB GBP

3.10 Torry Holt, WR STL

4.03 Santonio Holmes, WR PIT

5.10 Matt Hasslebeck, QB SEA

6.03 Fred Taylor, RB JAX

7.10 Bernard Berrian, WR MIN

-------------------------------------

RB's - 3 very nice backs, and Portis was a gift at 10. I like Grant in the second and feel he will end up a top 10 back. Taylor led his team last year and made his first Pro Bowl. His work is done.

WR's - Holt was a great late 3 grab, and Holmes is one of those receivers on the edge of the next level. Berrian will have to overcome a new system with an average Qb, but what a running game and defense. Some reinforcement needed, and available.

QB's - Hass is a great start, and leaves plenty options available for the #2. It's nice to get one of those 16 game guys. Not much more needed here.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JScott

1.11 Frank Gore, RB SFO

2.02 Reggie Wayne, WR IND

3.11 Brandon Jacobs, RB NYG

4.02 Michael Turner, RB ATL

5.11 Antonio Gates, WR/TE SDC

6.02 Ben Rothlisberger, QB PIT

7.11 Marc Bulger, QB STL

------------------------------------------------------

RB's - Gore, Jacobs, and Turner make up one of the strongest backfields in the draft. It's gravy time! GORE at #11!!???

WR's - Gates and Wayne are a strong start. He will need to use Wrbc to fill in at this point, but that can be easily done with Wr's. A little work to do.

QB's - This move is getting more and more prevelant in Fantasy Football, and it seems to work real well. He can concentrate on filling in now, as his work is done here.

This has been one of my favorite squads the whole draft, right behind V4E's, and the lack of the third wideout doesn't change that at this point.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Clash of the Titans

1.12 Larry Johnson, RB KCC

2.01 Willis McGahee, RB BAL

3.12 Chad Johnson, WR CIN

4.01 Anquan Boldin, WR ARI

5.12 Kellen Winslow Jr, WR/TE CLE

6.01 Travis Henry, RB DEN

7.12 Eli Manning, QB NYG

-------------------------------------------

RB's - There are a few questions here, but a healthy and productive LJ will go a long way in answering them. The questions surrounding Henry will likely also have to be answered by LJ. There are few things to address here.

WR's - These three look to be a solid group. The only drawback is that they all might be the 2nd best receivers on their teams, but then when you do that 3 deep you might be just fine. Not much more to do here but reinforce.

QB's - He waited awhile here but still scored a great QB. I think Eli only gets better and better after his clutch Super Bowl Performance.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I really am liking V4E's, JScott's ,and kutulu's team at this point.

When I mention the work being done, what I mean is now they can speculate on their wild card picks and sleepers because the hardwork of solidifying the individual position is over.

Good job remote.

I love your team except for the Edge pick. But who knows he could surprise this year.
