krizay 0 Posted July 9, 2008 What backup RB's are you guys hanging on to IN HOPES that the starter goes down? Not talking about handcuffs. Who ya got ur eye on?
bno70_1 0 Posted July 9, 2008 First, I never actually root for injuries, but a few guys I have stashed are. Pierre Thomas. Lorenzo Booker.
kiki 0 Posted July 9, 2008 Jerious Norwood! Yeah, he's been tabbed as a sleeper the last couple of years and didn't come through. over 200 carries and still averages 6 yards a pop -- Turner goes down and Norwood gets 15-20 touches a game and I think he'll go apeshit

I have Booker stashed also.... he's pretty much a Westbrook clone which gives me a pretty nice chubby when i think about "what could be" I still think Chester Taylor is the # 1 in the league though... AD is a HUGE injury risk and Chester is just waiting to get back in there full time....

Even sometimes when AP does go, starting Chester can pay off. That team just flat out runs the ball.
Kopy 570 Posted July 10, 2008 Bush, Michael OAK Harrison, Jerome CLE Norwood, Jerious ATL Thomas, Pierre NOS RB Wynn, DeShawn GBP RB Are the guys I have stashed on my bench. Wynn might end up being a roster casuality for me. However the other 4 I will keep, and have pretty good hopes for. I also might be the only guy I know not related to Harrison, that still believes in the kid. I guess love is blind
Barnaby Wilde 0 Posted July 10, 2008 Brandon Jackson, GB
jdon 28 Posted July 10, 2008 Though the recent news has not been to promising concerning A. Bradshaw I really like how he runs and Jacobs always gets hurt... I still have Betts on my team, I don't know if he counts as a super sleeper or anything but if Portis goes down he will perform. jdon

He cannot run between the tackles and he dances. He will be a good back up/change of pace RB
Ras66not99 0 Posted July 11, 2008 watched Booker 4 years at FSU. he will never be a featured/#1 NFL RB. He cannot run between the tackles and he dances. He will be a good back up/change of pace RB That was the scouting report about a lot of guys coming into the league.... like the Tiki's and even Westbrook when he was coming into the league though... I just think he fits that Philly system is all.... a lot of draws, dump screens, get him into some open space, etc.... who knows Who knows you could be right... time will tell... thanks for the input on the Booker daddy... I heard he isn't the best in pass protection either, how was he at FSU with that ? TIA
hecklers 0 Posted July 11, 2008 I am STILL waiting for Jerious Norwood to bust out of the gates. He simply has too much talent to keep on the bench. We'll see though with Turner now in front of him in the lineup. Should be interesting.
sweedness 0 Posted July 12, 2008 I think Michael Bush is an excellent candidate. He was very solid in college, and dropped to the 4th round because he, for whatever reason, had a very bad leg injury. He had had plenty of time to recover it, and might be rusy out of the gate. But he should make Fargas and Jordan expendable. Don't forget Tshard Choice from Dallas also. Great producer in college, and is going to a team where he can sit for a while. He might get some playing time if something happens to MBIII or Felix Jones. aderifield2 0 Posted July 12, 2008 Tony Hunt, Michael Robinson, and Leon Washington are the new names that I have to contribute The other two are Jerious Norwood and Brandon Jackson, which were already said.
