Would you make this trade?

Recommended Posts

I've been offered this trade:

My 1st round (# 1) and 7th round (61)

for

His 1st round (# 8) and 5th round (48)

Basically I get the following 1st ten picks: 8, 20, 21, 40, 41, 48, 60, 80, 81, 100

Would you do this?

Is there a big difference between the 48th pick & the 61st pick? Because there is a huge difference between LT/AP and MBIII, LJ or Portis.

In one of my early drafts it went like this:

#1.... AP

#8.... MBIII

#48.. Plax

#61.. Greg Jennings

In the other it went:

#1.... LT

#8.... Gore

#48.. Jonathan Stewart

#61.. Marvin Harrison

----

I still don't see it

In a heartbeat...don't hesitate...pull the trigger. Just think of the depth you get when you give up only one L.T. or Peterson for both Lynch and LenDale White

No way .. if that's his first offer, then he wants that pick. Never take the first offer.

Go back and try to get at least his 4th, or even better, his 3rd for your 6th.

I like the idea of trading down from #1 to grab Barber or Larry Johnson, but you gotta move up more than 13 picks in the middle of the draft.

You should only accept a deal like this:

You get 1st and 3rd/4th (8 and 28 or 38) and give up 1st and 5th or 6th (1 and 48 or 58)

That way you are moving up more spots, and earlier in the draft...
