joeunleaded 0 Posted August 31, 2008 He did great for me last season, and the kicking game should be a big part of the Titans strategy this year - will we keep seeing Vaughn in Game 1? Is the injury that serious, or is Jeff Fisher and the team just being over cautious?

scrotch 0 Posted August 31, 2008 So he holds the kicker out for fear of injury but trots the franchise QB out for half of the game? That's the way Jeff Fisher does almost every preseason. Unless injured, the starters play the most in the 4th game. He doesn't like the starters basically having 2+ weeks off before the regular season.

GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted August 31, 2008 It'll be nice if Bironas can pick up where he left off last year. The problem is, every year a different kicker rises to the top. Josh Brown might be one of those with St. Louis. Robbie Gould of Chicago was good when the defense was good. Nick Folk of Dallas will get tons of scoring opportunities. Viniteirri will be gunning for the top spot with Indy. And if Brady and the Pats offense stops short at all this year, you might have Gostkowski breaking all kinds of records. Then you can't forget about Rackers of 2 years ago, who is able to kick those 50+ field goals. And Mason Crosby of Green Bay could get more tries with a conservative offense. But I need Bironas to outshine the others if I'm going to win my league.

PackYourNut 47 Posted September 4, 2008 What's the latest on Bironas? It's time for me to pick up a kicker and it between him and Robbie Gould. Any Tenn homers got the scoop?
Dan6 0 Posted September 4, 2008 Kickers are so random and they're all the same anyway. Why not pick a healthy one?
