Eviloutsider 0 Posted August 31, 2008 I am not going to list the rosters and whatnot as it would be too much work (though the starters post trade are in parentheses) but I am just wondering if you guys think this is fair and if not who makes out the best worst in terms of the trade only. Jill Gets: (Cutler/Warner, Fitz, Driver, Mason/Walker/Johnson, LT, Parker, Kev. Smith) Warner Bryant Johnson Javon Walker Jill Gives Bowe Norwood Nik Gets (Romo, Marhsall, Andre Johnson, White, Jackson, James, Ronnie Brown) Roddy White Hightower Nik Gives Betts Warner Bryant Johnson Javon Walker Bryant Gets (McNabb, Holmes, Calvin Johnson, Bowe, Portis, Turner, Graham) Bowe Betts Norwood Bryant Gives White Hightower
Foghorn Leghorn 0 Posted September 1, 2008 I guess after today, whoever got Warner got the best of this deal. Though I have a feeling they may regret giving up Bowe....
mambokings 0 Posted September 1, 2008 Jill is the winner of this deal overall and only gives up Bowe/Norwood. In Warner, she has a capable FF veteran who can deliver as a #1 QB. In Johnson, she's getting what should be the #1 WR for San Francisco. In Walker, she's getting what should be the #1 WR for Oakland. --- Bryant also made out. He gets Bowe, Betts, and Norwood, only giving up White/Hightower. Edge is as durable as they come. Hightower won't make a huge impact in 2008. In Bowe, he upgrades at WR since Ryan has even less experience than Croyle. In Betts and Norwood, he gets handcuffs for both his running backs. Smooth. --- Poor Nik...this clearly was a two person deal and they needed a sucker in the middle to take advantage of. This clown gives up a stud #1 QB, two #1 WRs for their respective teams, and a very capable backup RB. What does he get? Roddy White and Hightower. Are you focking kidding me? He must be new to FF

doriantodd 0 Posted September 1, 2008 Thanks for seeing mine. I agree with the last post that Nik gets screwed in this deal. The commish shouldn't allow it. There also seem to be a lot of unnecessary parties and moving parts to this deal. The more I think about it how can anyone justify what Jil and Bryant are giving up compared to Nik. There seems to be some collusion going on.
dogbert 0 Posted September 1, 2008 It's not your job to judge if it's collusion or not. You don't know the people involved, or their intentions. The trade might not be fair, but I don't see a reason for it to be vetoed. Mambokings said it best, and I agree with him. Thanks for answering mine.
irish2007 0 Posted September 2, 2008 yeah i think nik gets screwed too. he is giving up a lot compared to the others....i smell something fishy. thanks for mine.
tazman01 0 Posted September 2, 2008 Thanks for mine. Holy shhhniikiieees, so many moving parts this was a tough one to follow, but i agree with mambokings who summed it up quite nice. Nick does not make out quite so nice. But there is no need for this trade to get vetoed, we don't know all the rosters but regardless I am only in favor of vetoing a trade that is ridiculous as this is not greaat for him it is not absord. Even though I do not like croyle I think bowe will have a good season and I like what jill gets but by midseason warner c/b on the bench, time will tell. Good luck
