Spec7ral 6 Posted September 4, 2008 My starters are in caps in my sig, reserves are lower case. I need to know who to start as flex: TJ, CJ, or JC? I like to use a 3rd RB most of the time but I'm not against using a WR. Thomas Jones had some nice stats vs Miami last year... but Calvin Johnson hype is getting even louder and he's playing Atlanta... I'm pretty comfy with having my big guns in the first week, just can't decide on flex... any thoughts are appreciated.

DanXIII 8 Posted September 4, 2008 I'd go with Thomas Jones. Here is my reasoning: In non-PPR leagues, if you have the choice between a WR and a RB in a flex position, go with the RB (assuming of course the RB you have is a starter, which Jones is). A RB is going to get more touches than a WR in any game unless the RB is splitting carries with others. I have not heard that Jones is so I assume that he is the main man there. Plus Miami is still Miami... Here's mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=321861
throttlers 0 Posted September 4, 2008 Thanks for mine. I agree with Dan. When looking at a RB and WR with similar value, I'll usually play the RB who is likely to get more touches. I'd go with TJ.

Spec7ral 6 Posted September 4, 2008 Thanks everyone. Jones was my gut feeling, thanks for getting rid of the doubts.
kinsey1986 0 Posted September 4, 2008 I'd go with Jones...his best games last year was against the 'Phins...plus All Day is going against the Packers defense, and they will stack the box....Tavaris Jackson vs. Packer's CBs=No Brainer love your WR corp btw
JackARoot 2 Posted September 4, 2008 Thanks for answering mine. I'd go with TJ since the RB position isn't as volitile as WR, you might miss a big score but you shouldn't get a goose egg.
