gocolts 300 Posted September 10, 2008 It seems like you guys are missing my earlier post...Does this refute the claim she is "refusing to meet with reporters? Yes it does......in a big way I might add.
gocolts 300 Posted September 10, 2008 if obama had never ever never done an interview and then hand-picked bill to do his one and only coming-out party, then, yeah, it would be the same. thanks for playing. defending palin in this situation is indefensibile. just shows the demographic in the gop party. "she sure does have a purty mouth--that's alls i'z cares about!" but those who rightly criticize this need to criticize the media. they're the ones letting the mccain campaign get away with controlling this. fortunately, a few journalists are now starting to question palin's abilities and knowledge based on her "absence" in taking a Q and A session from reporters. it's the most focked up bizarre thing i've ever seen: mccain can't be seen anywhere without mommy right now, but mommy isn't smart enough to be able to talk to reporters unchaperoned. it's like some kind of focked up rainwoman thing or something. you just can't make up this kind of hilarity. RP is right on the money with this. Obama has done this for months and months. Palin has even been in it for a single month. Hell, I have seen Obama run off the stage to avoid questions when they get tough, as I am sure you have. So this notion that she is running scared is laughable at this point. Now if she doges the media for the next 6 weeks, this argument would hold water.
thetxstang 0 Posted September 10, 2008 KP = a winner. Though I don't agree with kp most of the time, I appreciate the attempts to defend his positions with "hurt poosay" and "keep up the whining" remarks. He's been very influential in helping me understand right-wing sentiments, and as a result, has caused me to tone down my attacks on the right. to kp, a highly regarded contributor to this bored. The only other person who has as much influence on me is some Geek member who frequently replies with... POW!!!!11!1!
