just_want_2_win 0 Posted September 25, 2008 This concerns my roster with Favre (see signature for roster and scoring). League is 12 teams; I am 2nd highest scoring BUT tied for 1st in points scored against, so sitting at 2-2. (We played doubleheader in week 1.) Look at my roster and let me know what area(s) you'd shore up if you were me, and what you'd consider trying to do to fix it. The other owners in my league seem to be somewhat conservative when it comes to trades.

The other owners in my league seem to be somewhat conservative when it comes to trades. The first thing I would address is the RB position. I know you said the other owners are pretty conservative so I'm not exactly sure how to go about addressing it. Trade obviously would be the best option because you have a lot of RB's, but none of them seem that productive. In a worse case scenario you might have to scour the FA wire. Fast Willie is your best RB, and he's probably going to miss both Week 4 & Week 5. Maybe you could ship him or some other combination of RB's for a solid RB1 or RB2. Your 2 starting WR's look good. I would hope you wouldn't have to ship one of them to get anyone to bite on a trade offer. You could also use some WR depth. No reason to have 6 RB's when you only start 2. act316 0 Posted September 25, 2008 thanks for the help... i would trade coles and mcfadden for a stud RB. then pick up a decent WR off Free Agency for buy weeks... Josh Reed is all over Free agencies.... pick him up
Cstriker 2 Posted September 25, 2008 Is mcfadden better than Brown for this year? Maybe. yes trade coles and brown or mcfadden for a stud RB. Other WR that are ready to start and probably on FA, Kevin Curtis, Bobby Engram Thank you for your reply to my QQ
mrgymrat 0 Posted September 26, 2008 Personally I would stand pat. You're 2-2 because teams have scored a lot of points when they have played you. You can't control that. You should be fine down the stretch as your RBs have promise and your WRs are solid.QB is actually your weakest position with Favre and he has been ok so if Hasselbeck ever gets some WRs you could always go to him. I would lose Deangelo or Michael Bush and pickup another reserve WR as Coles has been on the injury report all year so that would concern me. But when he plays, he has been ok.
