Cheese Steak 0 Posted October 9, 2008 I have bye week trouble with the injury to Colston so I need to make a trade. I've been offered: T.HOLT and D.LEE for D.BOWE and A.FASANO Should I make this trade? My wideouts would then be COTCHERY HOLMES COLSTON HOLT Standard scoring. Is Holt going to bounce back to his old form? I think the coaching change will help shake things up there.
We Tigers 71 Posted October 9, 2008 I don't think it's worth giving up Bowe (or any of your receivers, for that matter) for just this week. Fasano's a better TE than Lee, too. Can you drop someone and grab a Steve Breaston/Matt Jones? If they're not available, I'd still prefer grabbing Greg Camarillo, Devin Hester, Chansi Stuckey, or Brandon Stokely than losing Bowe for an unproductive Holt. If you must trade for Holt, I'd try to deal Santonio Holmes instead of Dwayne Bowe. He's struggled, only had two good games, and is an offense with a bad line, banged up QB, and a preferred target in Hines Ward. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=328001
jbizzle06 2 Posted October 9, 2008 Yeah I wouldn't give up Bowe for Holt right now either, if you can pick up a decent WR. If not though, it might be worth going for Holt if Bulger starts to pick it up. I guess he was looking good in practice this week, but as of right now I don't trust him. See what the FA has to offer before going for that trade.
