Trade Cotchery for Welker and McClain

Recommended Posts

I was offered this...

Trade Away:

Jerricho Cotchery (NYJ)

Receive:

Le'Ron McClain (BAL)

Wes Welker (NWE)

The guy offering me this has Willis McGahee. I was thinking he is trying to dump McClain since McGahee is apparently back.

I currently have the following RBs and WRs

Portis

LJ

Faulk

Fargas

Kolby Smith

Benson

Cotchery

Bowe

Anthony Gonzalez

Hilliard

Leave me yours and I'll answer it.

I don't like the trade.

Cotchery is averaging almost 10 fantasy points a game, while Welker is averaging about 6 (standard scoring). McClain is an unknown with Willis around.

Your WR's are kind of weak...and this trade weakens your WR's. Portis is a stud on your team, and you can play the best matchup each week with your other RB's.

keep cotchery. i dont like welker, or ne for even that matter. mcclain is erratic and can get shut down like he did last week at indy. at least with cotchery, you know favre will throw it a ton and with jones playing well, it will open up the passing game that much more.

I dont like it to tell you the truth. The whole RB situation in BAL sucks (I know I have RR and McGah) and you are taking a hit at WR.

Thanks 4 mine.

I agree with everyone else that you should keep Cotchery. McClain is now behind McGahee & Rice it appears.

Thanks for answering mine. I don't like this deal for you. You'd be getting a step down in receiver (your weaker position) and RB that will likely ride your bench 90% of the time.
