Shamrock1961 0 Posted November 16, 2008 I would go Grant (had decent game against strong Minn D last week), Harrison (Got some looks from Payton last week), Pittman (Lone back being given the support of the coaching staff) http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=333346
ping 0 Posted November 16, 2008 Harrison (maybe no wayne),Grant ( facing Chi),Graham(see dunn),Dunn(see graham),hillis(only RB) or Pittman (nice matchup no jackson) Wow. Hmmm...given that I believe Wayne will play, I am not high on Harrison. I am a Packer fan and Grant has been getting stronger (played well against both Tennessee and Minnesota - in fact, he should have gotten more carries in BOTH of those games). If you had better choices, I'd say it might still be safe to keep him on the bench, but...given what you have, I'd go with him this week. Graham (knee issue) is less likely to see carries than Dunn. Gruden is in love with Dunn and his capabilities out of the backfield. With Tampa's fullback position banged up all year, Graham has spent more time blocking than running since the midpoint. I don't like the matchup (i.e. Minny) for either of those guys. I hate to say it, but I'd start both Hillis (last resort...almost ONLY resort in Denver...Tatum Bell just got back...not likely to see a LOT of action) and Antonio Pittman. Those two guys have the best matchups of the RB's listed here. In summary, I'm hesitant about starting Wayne or Grant but I am giving the nod to Grant here (and hoping for a good game). I'd take Hillis and Pittman at the other two spots and then I'd wish you a LOT of luck b/c that's three big question-marks you'll be starting this week. Good luck...hope it works out! Thanks for answering mine.
CajunBadger 9 Posted November 16, 2008 Grant, Pittman and ? ...none really stand out - would lean towards Hillis over Dunn only because of the matchup and would think Bell won't see many carries. As a side note, Graham was limited in practice all week but still expected to play while Dunn did practice. Also Wayne is expected to play.
