What do people think President Bush, took a sh!t on the Constitution?

Is this WHY do people.... or What people think...

'Cause this way makes no sense.

Nope. My blame rests with the morons who voted for him. The economy was running with a balanced budget, the stock market was making record profit, and people voted for Bush.

Why is there constant revisionist history on this point? Bush inherited an economy in the shitter. It was pretty bleak. The tax cuts actually kick started things, if you believe what Greenspan says, which is another argument.

Bush was the candidate of hope and change for the hard times we were facing, believe it or not. I believe it, since I was around 8 years ago.

Cause when I took the White House tour, I saw it lying on the bathroom floor and there wasn't any toilet paper around...you draw your own conclusions.

All I'm saying is that Bush did a lot of stupid things, broke a lot of his promises, but ruining a robust economy when taking office wasn't one of them. I'm sure it can be argued back and forth.

No good answer to actual evidence, so you resort to acting like a 5 year old. Makes perfect sense.

Both the Patriot Act, requested by and signed by Bush, and the wiretapping fiasco, are examples of Bush crapping on the Constitution. That others voted for the Patriot Act has nothing to do with jets24's question.

Perhaps you missed civics classes. Declaring a law unconstitutional doesn't happen overnight. That wasn't jets24's question.

I'm not ignoring either party. Again, that others voted for the Patriot Act has nothing to do with jets24's question. If his question was "did everyone in either party that voted for the Patriot Act crap on the Constitution?" then my answer would be yes.

You seem to be the one needing a civics lesson. Until it is ruled unconstitutional it isn't unconstitutional. A simple concept, but obviously to advanced for you.

Are you really that intellectually challenged? Nowhere in my arguments did I use the word unconstitutional. You did. Did Bush crap on the constitution. That is the question posed by jets24 that I answered. If the question was: has Bush done anything unconstitutional as determined by the Supreme Court, then we have a different discussion. Try to stay on point.

WTF do you think the resident Demwits are talking about when they say Bush "Sh!t" on the Constitution? Any person with an IQ hitting double digits knows what they are referring to...........you however seem to take the phrase literally, which begs the question: Why reference the Patriot Act if you think Bush has literally sh!t on the Constitution? :dunno:

There is a difference between me saying Bush crapped on the Constitution and the SCOTUS striking down the Patriot Act as unconstitutional. I can't be any plainer.

He inherited an economy growing at 4% annually and a balanced budget. Spending was being controlled. His "conservative" approach was to leave office with an economy completely in the sh!tter and so far in debt we're owned by the Chinese.

Republicans promised smaller government under their Contract with America, which they made good on. Bush not only threw his own party under the bus and effectively killed their chances in 2008 but he lied to social conservatives....the same ones he USED to get elected. As far as I'm concerned, I'm done with the Republican party. I'll vote for them in the state elections unless there is a libertarian who has a decent chance of getting elected but as far as I'm concerned I'll never cast another national vote for one. Bush killed them.

George W. Bush's recent statement that he believes the Bible is "probably not" literally true has apparently left many Christian conservatives reeling in shock.

Bush made the controversial statement during a Monday interview on ABC's Nightline. When asked whether he thinks the Bible is literally true, he replied, "Probably not. No, I'm not a literalist, but I think you can learn a lot from it."

Bush's Bible comments

Yeah...and Bush did a good job of upholding the 4th Amendment to the Constitution: http://www.newsweek.com/id/174601/page/1
