Secondly, you can't go by that sort of thing. For example, Boston College beats #1 UNC at UNC. Then BC goes and loses to Harvard. Go figure.

I'm in the area and believe me, Terps fans especially the hoops ones have this sense of entitlement every year. They feel that the team should be in the tournament every year and an NIT invite in March is beneath them, even though they played that way. One time they got an NIT # 1 seed which guarantees you home field advantage in your own stadium, and they still lost in the second round . Overrated team.
