GettnHuge 2 Posted March 12, 2009 Cable focking company So I log in once a monf to pay my bill, which means I'll need to take a few wild guesses at the password. After 5 misses I click the password recovery. Username or email? easy... Acct number from bill? well that's a new security feature. I don't get bills sent to me! I do it all online because the nice cable company offers that convenience. HOW THE FOCK AM I SUPPOSED TO FILL IN THE ACCOUNT NUMBER FROM THE BILL IF I OBVIOUSLY CAN'T LOGIN TO SEE THE BILL?!?! Try a few more passwords...account temp locked. That was yesterday, now it's still locked. I log into the internet page(sep from bill paying) and chat live with tech assist. get the typical jargon. me: don't you see the problem with asking for info that is on the bill from people who aren't able to view their bill? goof: blah blah we need that for security purposes... me: Why?! Do you have problems with people going into others accounts and deviously paying their bill for them?! goof: you should go to one of our service centers or call cust service Well just got off the phone with cust service... me: I'm having problems accessing the acct to pay my bill.... some woman: phone number?check. username? check. name and address on account?check. now sir I need your account number for verification... me: THATS WHY I'M CALLING YOU!!!!!!!
