kennybanya 0 Posted August 11, 2009 Standard scoring, no PPR DeAngelo Positives: Put up ridiculous numbers even while splitting carries. CAR defense will keep them in every game so they won't abandon the run. Fox is fiercely loyal to his starters. Massive O-line albeit with little depth. Negatives: Splitting carries with Stewart. Brutal schedule. Megatron Positives: Put up top tier numbers with such QB luminaries as Kitna, Orlovsky and Culpepper. Will be playing from behind all season. Decent supporting cast with Kevin Smith, B. Johnston, Northcutt and Pettigrew. Negatives: Inconsistent QB play is likely, although it can't be worse than last year. Can the O-line give the QB time to throw? Will be double/triple covered on most plays. Brees Positives: Colston, Bush, Shockey, Thomas, Henderson. On a historic run over the past few seasons. Negatives: Improved defense may result in less passing. Tough schedule. Bush is already dinged. Thoughts?

Kent 228 Posted August 11, 2009 Brees: Young....young offense...speedy offense...best offense in the league. Johnson: Young, can get it done with any QB, they have to throw every game from behind. Deangelo: RBs don't have the longest careers. He loses 40% of the carries to another young stud.
kennybanya 0 Posted August 11, 2009 Interesting. Three responses with three completely different takes. DeAngelo and Brees may never surpass what they did last year, but 75% of last year's output would still be phenomenal. Sky is the limit for Megatron, but do you keep a stud WR over a stud RB or QB? Tough one.
