gram 0 Posted August 21, 2009 so i have 2 keepers that i have to figure out how long to sign. i am in an auction league. the cap is 150. i can sign them for 1 year for +$3 or 3 years for +$9. so here are the players i am trying to figure out: pierre thomas @ $1: 1yr:$4 or 3yrs: $10 derrick ward @ $1: 1 yr:$4 or 3 yrs: $10 the plan all along has been to sign them both for 3 yrs, but having 2nd thoughts on ward @ age 28(29 during season). thanx!!! gram 0 Posted August 21, 2009 if i signed him for one year, we have what you call a "topper" @ the end of our draft...which means everybody gets to bid on him and once the bidding is done, i get the opportunity to bid one more than the winner. IE....say ward goes for $30 next year, i would have the opportunity to bid 31 since i have the topper rights to him. thanx for the iput so far guys...anymore???
