Trade Advice - MJD, Chris Johnson, Roddy White

I just completed my first draft of the year. It is a 10 team Yahoo Keeper League with .25ppr and 6 points for all td's. We are allowed to keep up to five players from last season (where I finished 12-1 in the regular season but was upset in the second round of the playoffs and finished 3rd). In this keeper league, you cannot keep first round draft picks so the early rounds were really strange since the top 40 players were pretty much gone (the first two tier's of WRs were already gone).

 

 

So here is the possible trade.

 

I send - Chris Johnson (10th round keeper) and Roddy White (7th rounder)

I receive - MJD (2nd rounder) and Lance Moore (7th rounder)

 

Instant rejection, right?

 

What if I counter with Housh instead of Roddy White??

WR - Roddy White, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Domenik Hixon, Hakeem Nicks, Troy Williamson, Jordy Nelson

RB - Matt Forte, Chris Johnson, Frank Gore, Knowshon Moreno, Chris Wells (I wonder if he'll ever change his name to Beanie), James Davis, Earnest Graham

I say no way. While MJD is a stud, the only clear WR starter you'd have is Housh if you accepted the trade. How many of each do you start?

 

You have 3 backs that could be considered 1st rounders. Assuming you play RB RB RB/WR WR WR, i like Forte Gore CJ White Housh alot more than Forte Gore Moore Housh and Hixon/Nicks (no idea who #1 will be in NY)

Don't do it.

MJD maybe a slight upgrade over CJ, but I favor Housh much more than Moore.

Like the other poster said, you don't want to kill your WR depth.

If anything, you need to be upgrading at WR, not RB. No way.
