jmueller44 0 Posted September 11, 2009 So .... Who do I start for Week #1 Eddie Royal (DEN) @ CIN or Wes Welker (NEP) Vs BUF I currently have Welker in my lineup (along side M. Colston). Help give me a reason why I should either, stay w/ Welker or switch to Royal. THANKS!!!! I will help in Return - please post a link to your help question!!! skibadee 0 Posted September 11, 2009 Denver's Qb is going to have a long year. plus I think what we are all going to find out is Eddie Royal was good because of Cutler. Welker all the way here, hes going to be in a big game, with lots of NE scoring Randy gets his 2 TD and Welker assuming hes healthy and playing will get his 70 rec and his TD Take the player with the best QB in the league throwing to him. Orton sucks bad
PATSSOX 22 Posted September 11, 2009 if it says Welker is going to play and be fine than go Welker!!!! to many question marks with Denver QB right now
GuardBum 73 Posted September 11, 2009 Welker. Not even a question to me.
ray415 0 Posted September 11, 2009 i would definitely go with wes welker and it has nothing else to do with anything except who's throwing the ball...i would feel more comfortable with brady throwing to welker than kyle orton to royal
jmueller44 0 Posted September 13, 2009 I think on a normal week-2-week basis, Welker will be the better start. However for this week #1, I keep reading and hearing that Royal would be the better start. I read/hear that B. Marshall doesn't know the playbook in DEN, and really will only be on the field for about 3-4 different offensive sets. With means about 10 different types of plays for DEN. I read this to mean, that Marshall sit on the bench for about 1/2 of the offensive plays. So, where does that leave E. Royal? I guess he should see about ten to a dozen targets this week. If that means 8+ catches, I don't see how to leave him on the bench. With Welker, he MIGHT at best see the ball 8 times, and there is the small possibility that he doesn't even play on Monday. and, that is a problem, being that it is a Monday night game. Most recent projections show Royal with 80 yrds and Welker with 50 yrds. What would you do?
