Jennings/Moreno/McFadden/ for Fitz/Rice?

Recommended Posts

My Team:

QB: Schaub, Palmer, Hasselbeck

WR: Fitzgerald, A Johnson, Wayne, Mason

RB: Grant, Rice, L Johnson, R Bush, L Washington, F Jones,

TE/K/D: doesn't matter

His Team:

QB: Flacco, Warner

WR: Jennings, V Jackson, S Holmes, E Bennett, M Clayton

RB: MJD, Sproles, Slaton, McFadden, Moreno, Cadillac

TE/K/D: who cares

I'm very WR heavy and need some help at RB, but would Moreno and Cadillac really constitute that much of an upgrade over Rice?

Will help you if you leave a link.

EDIT: Countered with Fitz/Rice for Jennings/Moreno/McFadden and he accepted. Thoughts?

No.

You're downgrading significantly at WR without addressing any of your RB issues. Consider this: it's as likely for Rice to break out as it would be for Moreno. So you're looking at trading Fitz for Jennings and Cadillac. As Coach Morris has publicly stated, they are going with a 2-2-1 rotation of Ward/Cadillac/Graham, and he's at least held up the Ward/Cadillac side. TB is amongst the five worst teams in the NFL and are not likely to be able to establish a running game consistantly to have Cadillac get over 15 carries a game.

I think you done good. Jennings had an off game, but I think he has huge potential the rest of the year. McFadden is starting to emerge over in Oakland. I also like Moreno's upside slightly more than Ray Rice at this point (mainly due to how much work mcgahee is getting around the goal line). Also, when you specifically consider that you are thin at RB I think you really improved your team.

I think this is an example of both teams improving through a trade.
