BigMilk 40 Posted September 30, 2009 Need to start 2 RBs and a Flex, have MJD, Jacobs, Slaton, DMAC, and Benson to choose from. Normally, I'd say MJD and Jacobs are locks and then figure out the flex amongs the remaining 3, but this week DMAC has a favorable matchup and is due to go off and Benson has been my best and most consistent RB so far this year (despite being on the bench the whole time). Slaton also looked better last week. Not sure what to do. So pick 3 and tell me why. Leave a link for yours.
TCVultures 0 Posted September 30, 2009 I think Jacobs and Benson are must starts since they're facing easy defenses, but the last choice I can't figure out. MJD is a solid back but is facing the 2nd best run D in the league. RUNDMC is facing the worst run D in the league but I don't exactly trust him. And same with Slaton, I don't know if I trust him yet even though he is facing a horrible run D. Summary - Jacobs, Benson, and the final one .... it depends on who you trust more. If it were me, I'd go with DMC since I think if he's going to have a really good fantasy performance this year, this is the game. Goodluck.
spacepirate 0 Posted September 30, 2009 Definitely Jacobs & Benson, NYG, CIN are going to stomp KC, CLE When in doubt, play your studs, & play them at home (ranked in order of pref): MJD - Tough matchup, but this isn't the same TEN as last year Slayton - Oak D has improved but doesn't put fear in me; what has he or Hou shown yet? Dmac - Russel is your QB, how much can you count on the O on the road? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=352138

Easy!!! you have 2 first round backs somehow and Jacobs a 2nd rounder. play those studs and youll be fine MJD-stud Jacobs-finally go into endzone last week and will continue to. Slaton-struggled first 2 games but will be fine. answer mine
Fearsome 22 Posted September 30, 2009 I like Benson, Drew and Jacobs. Bradshaw is hurt so that may add to Jacobs' effectiveness. Thanks for mine.
Vetman 0 Posted September 30, 2009 MJD, Jacobs and Benson. Jacobs and Benson are going against soft Ds and even though Jax is playing Tenn, I could not sit a stud RB. DMC is intriguing, IF he can hold onto the ball. If your league gives negative points for fumbles, I would sit DMC. SportsNutz 0 Posted October 1, 2009 MJD, Jacobs and Benson this week. DMC can't get it out of gear as long as Russell is the QB out there. Slaton has been a major disappointment this year and I just don't trust him enough over your other three. Thanks for answering mine! 'Nutz
H-man 12 Posted October 1, 2009 I'll hop on the bandwagon and say Benson, Jacobs, MJD. Even though it's a bad match-up for MJD he's still a threat to punch in a couple of TDs even if he only gets 70 total yards or something.
ThatAlexGuy 0 Posted October 1, 2009 You're going to start MJD anyway, but I actually suggest starting Benson, Jacobs, and Slaton. The first two are for fairly obvious reasons, Benson vs CLE (alowed 183 on the ground per game this far), and Jacobs (against horrible Kansas City defense, and will be running all game). Why Slaton over MJD? Matchup. Slaton looked good last week and this week he gets Oakland. I've never bought into the start your studs theory, I always tend to look at and pose the simple question, who will score the most points this week? And match up has a lot to do with that. Slaton's ceiling vs Oakland is so much higher than MJD's vs a tough TEN defense. Tennessee will be looking to win that game in order to not start 0-4 and Jacksonville might be passing for the majority of that game. Start: Benson, Jacobs, Slaton
Melvinbet 5 Posted October 1, 2009 Thanks for mine. Benson and Jacobs seem like the best two but I don't think I could sit MJD irregardless of who he facing. The only way I'd be sitting MJD is if he was injured.
Melvinbet 5 Posted October 1, 2009 Oh, I forgot, remember MJD is a part of the Jags passing game as well so if the Jags are not running much you can be assured that MJD will still get his touches. Titans pass D sucks. I apologize if any of the Titans Def are reading this but it's the truth..
enjoi525 0 Posted October 1, 2009 A good week to start your studs. go with MJD, Jacobs and slaton. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=352251
Tacks 0 Posted October 1, 2009 Go with MJD, Benson, and Slaton. Hard to sit Jacobs. For me, it's between Slaton and Jacobs for the third spot. Stick with Benson while he's hot. Mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...t&p=4067597
mrpancake 0 Posted October 1, 2009 MJD, Jacobs, and Benson although...you'd probably be fine substituting Slaton in there too. This is a great problem to have because they all should be good for you. I'm not sure I fully trust Benson yet but his matchup is too good to pass up on this week. MJD will get his one way or another.
