Have to drop a RB to get a WR due to league rules

Recommended Posts

I'm playing in a league with some wacky roster rules. We can only have a combined total of 7 RBs and WRs. We start 2 of each.

My roster is:

DeAngelo Williams

Steve Slaton

Pierre Thomas

Knowshon Moreno

Greg Jennings

Vincent Jackson

Dwayne Bowe.

Jennings and Jackson are both on a bye, so I need another WR this week.

Do I drop Knowshon for someone like Derrick Mason, Johnny Knox, Patrick Crayton or T.J. Houshmandzadeh?

I hate to lose Knowshon's upside, but I also hate to play with one player short this week.

Help!?

THANKS!

I agree with the dude before me. Moreno seems to be a good back of the future but he's the only one I would consider dropping. I'd get Mason out of those WR's.

Goodluck.

I might wait it out, that stable of RBs isn't worth splitting up. I'd pick up Crayton out of those listed. But rather than dropping one (I agree Moreno is the odd man out if you do decide to make a drop), maybe you could try and make a trade for someone who is hurting at RB? Knowing your situation, you may get lowball offers, but if you offer Slaton or Moreno or Thomas for a tier 1 receiver, a guy who needs RB help bad will listen.

Of those RB's, yes, Knowshon is the expendable one right now. But in normal leagues, I would hold on to him. He's starting to be the guy in DEN (Buckhalter is hurt and might miss time and Hillis is in the coach's doghouse).
