Why are the Colts still throwing the ball?

I have no problem with Peyton and the Colts running it up and pushing it all game long. Why shouldn't they? The Pats did it and before the Pats were the Colts and before the Colts were the Vikings etc etc etc. Records are made to be broken so instead of hating on the teams that break records I'll respect them for their dominance.

 

If I was Peyton I'd want to take back my records. I'm sure he was proud of them before.

It doesn't hurt that a 2nd year wr and a rookie are getting the extra time needed in the passing game to gel more with Peyton....if Gonzo doesnt come back for a few more weeks or gets reinjured...it could pay huge dividends come playoff time. I hardly think Peyton is worried about his stat line.
