A little trade help please

First off I'm weeek at RB and quite deep at WR. I have Andre Johnson and Randy Moss and want to try get some good value for them at RB. I think I can probably get about the same for both so I'm wondering wich you think I'm better off with for the rest of the year in a .5 ppr league.

 

Second off I think I may be able to get Matt Forte and either Welker or Roddy White in exchange for Moss or Johnson and and a second or third tier reciever. Do you think Forte is a good buy low guy or will his struggles continue.

I'm not sold on Forte. I think his struggles will continue -- especially since Cutler is at QB and they don't HAVE to run.

jdibella is right. Forte value is way down from last year now that CHI has a QB that likes to throw downfield. You could do a lot better, even with a straight-up trade. If Forte's all you can get, I do like the combo with Welker or White.

 

As for whom to give up, I'd part with Moss. Andre the Johnson is a beast, he's a lot younger than Moss, and I like his schedule a little more. Plus I don't see Brady having another one of those monster games (except for maybe this week against TB).

if you could get Forte and Welker or White for just AJ or Moss id say you would have to do that. I have Moss in a bunch of leagues and ive told everyone the only way i trade him is a deal like that

Thanks for the reply. I was just looking at his roster thinking if I should do this and he has both Schaub and Brees and is looking to trade one of them. My QB is McNabb. If I could get one of those two instead of a WR should I?

If you could get Schaub with AJ than heck yea!!! I love having the double points But id probably rather have Forte and a WR and keep McNabb. Make you stronger all around.

 

The problem i see with Forte is his schedule gets even tougher down the stretch and he has not done crap so far. I was looking at trying to trade for him cause should be able to get cheap. I started to offer Forte owner Pierre Thomas but pulled offer after looked at each schedule. But id still take Forte and WR for AJ or Moss

Schaub with AJ would be nice but I also have Owen Daniels and that would leave me with three spots to fill when Houston has there bye and I don't want that.

 

As far as PT goes I have him as well and think he will be a stud starting over the next couple weeks and through the rest of the season. My problem is my other RB's are kevin Smith and Jonathan Stewart and thats just not good enough in my opinion. I really just need to get deeper at that spot and I'll be in great shape. At 4-2 I have the best record and the most points in my league.

One more quick question for? I give up the same thing but in return I get either Turner or Gore and Greg Jennings. Obviously either of those backs is better than Forte the question is wich am i better off with and is Jennings enough?

dam i wish people in my leagues were as generous as they are in yours DAAAAM id take Gore over Turner. any of those deals are very good in my mind. you get a #1 back and #1/#2 WR

 

i like the Gore and Jennings deal as good as any i guess. but its probably your biggest gamble cause the way Jennings is playing. He can be a #1 WR very easily. that has the biggest upside of the deals
