declare a champion in CBS league

Just wondering if anyone has any idea how to declare a champion in a CBS league. The winner of my league is asking me to do it so it updated his account status to show he won.

 

I was able to set the playoff matchups but, I don't see how I declare the winner, 2nd place and 3rd place.

 

Any insight would be appreciated.

The winner of the final game is declared the Champion If he is wanting it to say in BIG LETTERS that his team is champion well just put it up on your league home page i guess. Just do a story on front page thats what i do.

 

But CBS does not have brackets or anything that declares a winner if thats what you are looking for. At the end of year the commish can hand out awards in the history or awards section dont remember. We had our championship in week 16 in both my leagues but in the one im Commish in me and my buddy draft a team each week during playoffs and play for $50. Its fun and we pay enough for website and take advantage of it. And the history/stats dont change cause i change it back to normal after superbowl.

this has something to do with your Fantasy Level/Ranking. I've won 3 in the last 4 years and have nothing that shows "champion"

Actually, CBS does have "trophies". If you go to league history, you can assign a league champion for each year your league has been in existence ( ). The trophies will appear on the players team page right next to their name. You might have to wait until they launch next season, though before you can add the new trophy.

As far as I can tell, CBS stopped doing the rankings 2 years ago. I haven't seen an update since the 2007 fantasy baseball season.

this is the OP...I wrote an email to CBS and they actually got back to me.

 

They said, "Once we archive the 09 season you will be able to go to the league home history page and hand out awards and set the league champion. There will be a message on your leagues homepage indicating once we have done so."

 

Yeah, the winner was worried about his personal ranking within CBS.
